A Farewell to Hemingway, 'His Final Chapter'

Summary

"Since I was a young boy, I have cared greatly for fishing and shooting. If I had not spent so much time at them ... I might have written much more. On the other hand I might have shot myself." (Ernest Hemingway) "The world breaks everyone and afterwards many are strong at the broken places." (A Farewell to Arms) "Dying is only bad when it takes a long time and hurts so much that it humiliates you." (For Whom the Bell Tolls) "I never ran into God, so I don't know whether He can read or not. Probably they give Him excerpts and a quick fill in if He ever has to meet an author." (Ernest Hemingway)
