St. Louis librarian and amateur astronomer, Jillian Edwards, has been following the phenomenon of the four lunar eclipses that began in April, 2014, and ended on September 28, 2015. On the night of the final lunar eclipse, Jillian throws a Blood Moon party for her friends and coworkers on the roof of her downtown loft. However, the party comes to a screeching halt when this last Blood Moon, accompanied by a supernatural worldwide storm, opens a portal underneath the burial grounds in nearby Cahokia Mounds.
