Checkmate, Death

Summary

As an immortal being, it was apparent that Death would stumble upon a great challenge sooner or later - he was impaired with extreme boredom.   

Such motivation paired with his creativity led to the creation of the greatest strategy game humanity and even the celestials have ever played: chess.  

Finally, boredom would be quenched...but not until Death realizes that everyone else was awful at the game he so proudly dubbed as "The Game of Life and Death".
