Summary

Everett Lester is the troubled millionaire frontman for the world's most famous heavy metal band, DeathStroke. In his desperate, drug-induced search for peace and meaning, he contracts the services of psychic Endora Crystal to travel with the band and provide him solace. Karen Bayliss is a teenager from Kansas who is led to pray for Everett and write letters sharing what she believes is the true secret to setting him free. When someone turns up dead in Everett's Miami high-rise, the ensuing murder trial will change everything - for Everett, for Karen, and for Everett's millions of followers.
