Death Ray

Summary

Mark Bronson, a young high-tech engineer blacklisted by Silicon Valley venture capitalists and desperate for a job, takes a position as a temporary lab technician for a month. In the lab, he accidentally discovers a death ray.  Mark then gets sucked in to a world of government perfidy and power politics, of espionage and intrigue, and of stress that reveals true character.
