Summary

Poet and novelist Cristina Peri Rossi has won the Poetry International Rafael Alberti Award and her works have been translated into many languages. She explores the different forms of addiction in this story. Javier is a photographer who abuses sex, drugs, and alcohol. But most of all, his fixation with beauty consumes him. After rehab and years of a tranquil, quiet existence, Javier meets the beautiful model Nora. His obsession returns as he tries everything to have her for just one night.
