Summary

Ellie who just turned 18, dumps her boyfriend in the final year of school. She starts to rediscover her sexual orientation.... “Dad, John, I’m dating Candice.”  In the silence that follows, you could have heard a pin drop. Ellie sits and waits. John snickers, and her dad glares at him. Turning his eyes to Ellie, he says, “So what you’re saying is you’re gay?” “If being in love with a girl when I’m a girl makes me gay, then I guess that’s what I am,” Ellie retorts.  She can see the fury building in her dad’s eyes. John is just staring at her, and Ellie can almost see him remembering the time, a month ago, when he brought her books over, and she and Candice were wearing only their nightshirts watching a movie. How far will Candice and Ellie go in this relationship? This is a clean novel, suited for young adults.
