Summary

When a mysterious 18-year-old woman attracts the Laird of Inverness, Wallace, Clan Campbell is wary. For Bridget has appeared suddenly, with a harrowing tale too absurd to be true.

As Wallace's feelings grow for the beautiful woman, Bridget's feelings grow for another man. She is prepared to do whatever Alec wants to gain favor for her clan. But when Wallace's life is on the line, Bridget must make a choice. Do the evil that Alec wants or risk her own life to protect the man she has come to care about.
