Summary

This is the third collection of short stories recounting the author's adventures as a member of the New Orleans Police Department. There are a few more stories thrown in to give the book a bit of variety. Humor is a very necessary component of police work and is inescapable in any genuine tales of police adventures. Man's Best Friend is the follow-up volume to Growing up in Blue.
