Summary

A woman walks into a blues bar...and into the hottest summer of her life! After Sophie’s difficult, demanding fiancé goes MIA in Afghanistan, she vows to enjoy her new freedom. A simple night of fun with her friends turns into something hot and sexy and is just what she needs to kick off her new attitude.  Liam sings the blues...for a good reason.  He hasn’t trusted a woman with his heart in so long that he’s earned his reputation as the king of one-night stands. One look at Sophie, and Liam rethinks his policy on down-and-dirty quickies. Liam urges Sophie into a summer fling to test the waters.  At first, a summer fling is exactly what they’re both looking for, and then their feelings change.... Except that Sophie’s determined not to fall for another worthless man - not even a blues singer with a voice that can melt wax. But trust is a two-way street, and freedom comes at a cost. If Sophie is brave and admits the truth of her painful past, she fears whether Liam’s trust will stand...or fall.
