Out of Darkness

Summary

In the darkest part of the Dark Ages, the land of Britannia has fallen into many fighting petty kingdoms constantly squabbling, bleeding, and dying over little patches of ground. It is an era of despair, hopelessness, and fear for the people. Chaos reigns supreme across the isle of the mighty. Prince Edwin of Northumbria is a man born heir to a kingdom in the northeast of England, but his father's tragic, untimely death sends him fleeing into a hopeless over decade long exile spent hiding and continuously on the run from his arch enemies in the North. When all seems darkest, a mysterious appearance from an angelic visitor one foggy night in the wilds tells that Edwin will not only recover his beloved late father's lost kingdom, but rise to become greater than any kings that have ruled Britannia before him. Witness the thrilling rise of the first Christian King of All English in this the first of a new three-volume series on the English people's march into the glorious heavenly light.
