Summary

No trust equals a heightened awareness and more self-reliance with very little support. Eight years later, with a new partner, it is not working. Even more difficult is a dictated career change, new family strife, and a big move to Washington, DC, continue to test Jonathan's resilience. In the present, the chessboard is built, now Jane starts setting up the pieces for her first game. Even she doesn't know when her brother is getting ready for checkmate.
