Rejecting the Duke

Summary

Lady Matilda is a free spirit who loves her horses. But an unexpected encounter with the Duke of Fenshire turns her world upside down. The duke is to marry a woman he does not love, but once he meets Matilda, his life is never the same.  As the duke wrestles with his feelings for Matilda and his impending loveless marriage, he tries to win Matilda's heart. As Matilda's cold heart refuses to melt, the Duke prepares for marriage, unaware that his betrothed, Lady Rose, has seen him and Matilda together, igniting a fierce jealousy inside her.  Rose soon sets a plan in motion that will forever tragically change the lives of Matilda and the duke forever.
