Summary

The Formula is a character-driven contemporary novel that takes place in Aspen, Colorado. The story begins with the murder of Dr. Laura Russo who has returned to her hometown to deliver a lecture on her research that involves the discovery of a drug formula with far-reaching military implications. During the investigation of her murder, the characters are swept into a web of international intrigue.
