Summary

The rope was already around Bill Peace's neck. He looked at Judge White, hardly able to believe that this man would lend himself to a lynching. But that was before the outlaw Al Sisson interfered. Bill realized that he would be trading certain death for the life of a fugitive, but the prize seemed worth the gamble.
