The Longest Night

Summary

Roark Hawthorne had it all. He was a tenured professor in the English department at Weatherby College. The school itself was named after the family that built it, the richest family in town - Colin and Selene Weatherby and their daughter Jennifer. Roark and Jennifer had a hot and cold affection for each other, and when they were old enough and foolish enough, they eloped 4 days before her marriage to another man.  Real life began, and the idyll within Weatherby castle caused a rift between Roark and Jennifer. She was spoiled, arrogant, and mysterious at times and then one evening after Roark’s book tour ended, she disappeared.  As Roark is dragged through a senseless nightmare, secrets begin to unearth themselves.
