Summary

Reeling from the events of the previous night, the team struggle to cope with the shock and pain. How can you win against something you can't bring yourself to fight? Do they use the nuclear option and risk it all?  In the north, Cassie grows bored and pushes Gregori and the Boy on a course of action that will change everything, and the infection evolves into a terrifying opponent, pulling both sides into an ever-darkening game of cat and mouse.  New characters hear the call to arms, and questions are answered. Who was the guy in the armoured van on Day One? Secrets are revealed, but the mystery only deepens.
