You Before Me

Summary

Something had to shift eventually. There was only so long Andrew and I could dance around each other before someone noticed. That someone ended up being MaryAnn Howell, Andrew’s ex-fiancé. MaryAnn was everything I wasn’t: elegant, rich, confident. She had gotten closer to Andrew than I had ever been. And now, she’s joining us for the rest of the European tour. Andrew says that he doesn’t want anything to do with her, but with all the time they spend together to keep his father happy, who knows what will happen between them? I can feel Andrew slipping away from me the longer he spends with MaryAnn. Having to keep my head down and do my job and organizing romantic trips in one of the most beautiful cities in the world for the love of my life and his ex makes my skin crawl. I don’t know how much longer I can take this.
