Summary

In the summer of 2005, Mookie Hooper - think Diane Sawyer in a training bra - investigates a girl who went missing from Camp Cartwright, while confronting the budding anxieties of tweendom. A heartfelt comedy told through letters written from camp to an unknown figure, Mookie tries to uncover the legend of the Lady of the Lake, make friends with literally anyone, all while trying to mask her errant pubes from the rest of swim class.
