If you have the conversation skills of a monkey, then yes, that's a problem. Conversation is the glue that holds interactions together. Without having the conversation skills to keep a conversation going, then how do you expect the interaction to continue after you approach? Guys think, “All I have to do is approach her. Then everything will fall into place and she will be all over me!” This can certainly happen. That being said, it’s good to be able to come up with stuff to say after you approach her. A common complaint is: “Help! I don’t know what to say after I approach her! I don’t have the conversation skills to keep things going out. The conversations has lots of weird awkward moments of silence and then quickly fades into oblivion.” Well here is a million-dollar question: “Do you find it difficult to find things to talk about when you are with your close friends?” No! Because being easily able to come up with stuff to say is a state of mind. When you are in a “talkative state”, speaking your mind freely, having zero social inhibitions, and being in the present moment, then the right thing to say naturally occurs. The great thing about conversation skills is that they can be learned! In this book, I have aggregated various tweets that I have made throughout the years on the subject of conversation. When you come across a gem, verbalize out loud (even a few times). Allow the idea to sink in. If it’s a powerful gem, write it down and repeat it multiple times in the span of a week. The more you repeat valuable ideas, the more they become internalized, and the more you will find yourself applying the ideas into your daily life. You can approach anyone, anytime, anywhere. Say this affirmation multiple times: “I can approach anyone, anytime, anywhere.” Say it with enthusiasm. When you repeat a self-suggestion enough times, then you condition your mind to believe it; then it will become your reality. It’s time to let go of beta male conditioning and recondition your mind, starting now.
