Summary

In the first part of the 19th century, many young men held a secret longing to abandon their lives in North Shields, along with their homes and families, and sail away to distant lands in search of wealth, romance, and adventure.  John Margetts was not one of them! He disappeared one night under the most unnatural circumstances.
