Summary

Boston-area firefighter Peter Connor had it all: a beautiful wife, a loving son, a job that he loved. To those around him, he was a hero and a leader. Until the one night, in which he lost everything. A horrible accident robbed him of those closest to him and left him struggling to find a reason to keep going. Can he find his way back? Single mother Amy Harper lost the love of her life when his convoy ran over an IED in Afghanistan. Left to raise their young daughter alone, she finds her own life threatened from the inside out. Beloved and respected radiologist Dr. Grace Warner spent her entire life saving others when her own life is turned upside down.
