Should Christians prepare for the worst? Isn’t that one of the big questions we all face? If we have our faith in God, shouldn’t we trust him to take care of us? Where is the line between faith and prudence, anyway? Just what does God expect of us? Does the Bible actually talk about any of this? Yes, it does! God knows the dangers we face, and he knows what we should do about it. He is not blind to our needs. We can see the balance between doing our part and trusting in him and in his word. It doesn’t have to be one or the other; it can and should be both. God has a plan for our lives, and he will get us through, but we have to do it in faith. That doesn’t just mean trusting him to take care of us, but also doing what he tells us to do. The great “Hall of Faith” in Hebrews 11 is filled with people who trusted God, doing what he said to do. It falls to you and I to walk in the footsteps of those giants of the faith and do what God tells us to. Find out what God says about all this in this powerful, insightful audiobook. You’ll see Biblical examples, along with practical faith, that can show you what you need to do so you can ensure that your family will be taken care of when everything else goes wrong. This audiobook discusses the following: The case for Christian preparedness Why Christians should prepare What does the Bible say about prepping? If the world as you know is upended today, would you be prepared for the challenges to come? Hollywood serves up an endless supply of nightmares including war, climate catastrophes, and meteorite strikes. But are these all imaginary? Millions of people around the world have opened their eyes to the potential for disasters big and small, from electromagnetic pulses and attacks on the electrical grid, down to medical emergencies, and job loss. They do this because they believe life can change at a moment's notice. And they aren’t wrong. We are walking on a razor’s edge - politically, financially, and technologically. Major disruption is no longer the realm of fiction. And you may feel it, too. The Preparedness Roadmap approaches these life-changing events from the perspective of personal responsibility and self-reliance. Only by taking control of your own state of readiness can you reduce the stress that comes with disaster awareness. Preparing yourself and your family for disasters big and small is an act of love. But how do you get started on that path? What is the road map for success? The Preparedness Roadmap approaches disaster readiness with a series of practical tasks laid out over twelve months. During each block of time, we cover the three most important aspects of your path: what to buy, what to learn, and how to improve your mind-set. The Preparedness Roadmap takes a measured approach to improving your survival posture - one that recognizes success results from a slow and steady approach that builds and reinforces good habits (the marathon) and not quick all-consuming action resulting from fear (the sprint). The Preparedness Roadmap is written for both the novice prepper seeking an experienced guide on their journey and for the seasoned prepper looking for new inspiration and a tune-up. The Preparedness Roadmap is a must-have for the library of every household seeking to improve their position in this unstable world.

End Time theology is a popular theme in the church today. Some believers scramble to compete with each other in reciting all the disasters that the Bible says will happen. How well they know the signs of those coming times. Yet few bother to stop and think about the things that Jesus says we will have to live through before that time comes. It doesn’t matter what End Times theology you subscribe to since Jesus tells us of a time called “the beginning of sorrows”, which happens before any of it. It is all there in Matthew, chapter 24. Even if you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, like the majority of the church, you will not escape this time. Even so, few believers ever look beyond that list of disasters as being more than a checklist of things that will usher in the Lord’s return, not even realizing that wars and persecution will happen before we see him. Why did the Lord tell us about all this? Was it so we could watch for his coming? Or could it be that he had a much more practical purpose in letting us know what to expect and what we would have to live through? Either way, He did give us warning, and one we should heed. What will we do when that time comes? It depends a lot on how prepared we are for that day. While we all will be faced with the same troubles, those most prepared will likely fare better than those who aren’t. This insightful book explores Jesus’s warning to us, looking not only at what is coming, but what we can do about it. By following his advice, we guarantee that his best will be done in our lives. While many other believers may sit around, praying for deliverance, those who do what the Lord has instructed will already be protected from the storm.
