Summary
Ben Marcus can't catch a break. After an unexplained blackout takes out nearly every electronic device in America, he finds himself stranded in Central Ohio. After finally securing transportation, he takes off back toward his family and friends but finds they have already left Ohio, headed back to Virginia. With determination - and little else - he continues his journey home, but is home going to be any better off when he gets there? The only way to find out is to get there and see for himself.
