Summary

Burned is a prequel short story to Backtrack 17 Fred’s agony over past mistakes is so overwhelming he craves a reminder of them - one that will be burned into his flesh forever. Sadie is a woman with secrets. Together they share a memory of a long-ago incident that changed both their lives. Little do they know the past is about to explode into present-day reality.
