The Safety of Objects

Summary

On the surface, material objects are just that. Inanimate things that can be seen, touched, smelled, heard, tasted, and sometimes all five.  However, us humans have a way of associating meaning to even the most ordinary seeming of items, from allergy-inducing grass blades to delectable candy and everything in between. Some objects bring us all-encompassing comfort, while others bring us undeniable distress.
