Summary

When all else fails. When people think their world is ending. When they have no choice but to ask for help. They call for me, I am the last line of defense. My name is Olivia. I am the Alpha to a mostly female pack. We get called on jobs all over the world, dealing with rogues. This job is a little too close to home.  My mates are former military men that don’t want to fight any more. They just want to live in peace with others like them. They show up in my woods needing my help.  Now my mates and my pack are on the line.  Nothing will stop me from doing what needs to be done.  Rogues, you better watch out because they are under my protection.  And I refuse to fail.

They gave him power.

Paranoia and twisted delusion begin to bind Claude's double life as a charming official, able to justify his every crime to his followers, but also a criminal narcissist with a blood obsession.

Reviews

"Skillful...allowing readers to confront the dark, mad elements in society - providing a glimpse into the mind of psychopathic individuals who live on the fringe." (Prairies Book Magazine)

"Author Khris Pfeifer does very well in The Judge’s Demon, very aptly named, to keep readers hooked and tense in their seats until the very end where they are left wanting more. The author also does excellently in developing the sense of paranoia as well as showing the characters developing madness, and the relationships that are cultivated." (Readers' Favorite)

Warning: graphic violence including torture, abuse, and rape.

Read Between the Lies

Summary

In a remote town on the Suffolk coast, the local residents are stalked by a brutal killer. After the sighting of strange lights in the sky, the dismembered, burnt remains of the local RAF base commander are discovered in his car. An autopsy reveals that the victim showed signs of exposure to high radiation levels. Assistant Chief Constable Angela White enlists the aid of both John Handful and local reporter Yazmin Nash. The level of radiation the killer leaves in its wake should have killed any normal man by now, but the murders continue: the killer appears to be both more and less than human. And then when a leading government minister arrives the pressure is on for Handful to solve the case not only quickly but also quietly, by any means possible. Until a strange craft is discovered... Handful then turns from hunter to hunted, where everyone is playing for the highest stakes, and where violence becomes the only solution....
