When his nephew marries the wrong woman, Warner steals the accidentally jilted Maribella and marries her in the way of old — with his bite. More human than wolf, Maribella takes to the new pack who has accepted her just as she is. Until a new threat rises in the north, and with it, something dark and hungry inside Warner. Maribella will have to surrender to the hell-beast that sleeps beneath her skin to fight for her mate, her pack, and to claim her destiny. In the bleakest of nights, War realizes that while he was stealing his heiress, she stole his heart. And for all who dare to try and take her from him, there will be hell to pay.

After waking up into a hotel room in Vegas, married to waitress Belle Vaughn instead of wolf heiress Maribella DeVaughn, Parker knows he’s made a mistake of epic proportions. One that his family, money, and position can’t fix for anyone involved. There will be no annulment or divorce. Not only because wolves mate for life but because of Woolven Industries. They can’t afford another scandal. Belle doesn’t understand why it’s such a big deal until the full moon Parker tries to turn her and fails...because, she’s a vampire. They aren’t even the same species, but somewhere along the way, the show they put on for human society became real, and that mistake became something not only worth dying for, but worth living for, too.

While there are many stereotypes about military spouses, there are a lot of things most people simply don’t know or don’t understand until they’ve become part of the military community. Maybe you’re new to being a military spouse, maybe you just met someone and you aren’t married yet, but things are heading in that direction, maybe you’re a veteran who is now a military spouse, or maybe you’re what we call a "seasoned" military spouse just looking for new reading material. You might have joined the facebook groups or tried to meet friends at your military installation but part of you is still lonely, or you need validation for how you’re feeling. In this book, you might listen to some tips you never knew, or you’ll sit there nodding your head saying “yes girl!”, or maybe you’ll be raising one eyebrow thinking I’m totally off base. In any situation, you and I and every military spouse out there, knows there is something different about how we live our lives and this book is just a compilation of things we should know, wish we would have known sooner, and even things we wish other people would know about us.

When you think about the evil in the world, you conjure up images of those who prey on children, serial murderers, and criminals who carry out sickening and violent acts toward the weak, vulnerable, and undeserving. Names like Bundy, Gacy, and Gein come to mind, alongside the many other murderous people out there who've gained notoriety because of their evil. When you're envisioning the unthinkable and heinous acts that are carried out in this world, it's unlikely you imagine a youngster as being a perpetrator of evil. Killer children, although rare, do exist. The thought alone is terrifying; we see children as being vulnerable and pure, which makes it harder to comprehend them wanting to inflict pain and suffering on another being. The correlation of a child and unthinkable acts of murder is undeniably tricky to compute. The children in this book carried out acts of savage murder - even just typing that sentence feels wrong. Some of these murders are sexually motivated; some are carried out for revenge; others are part of an occult ritual. Regardless of the motivation for these children to commit unspeakable acts of cruelty, they are all disturbing.
