Defenders of the Light

Summary

This is my first book. I wasn't contemplating writing any of this until after completing a course on human consciousness at the Monroe Institute (TMI) in Faber, Virginia.  During one of the TMI exercises, I had an "event" that turned into an in-depth lecture on something a small group of Spirit Guides (aka Guardian Angel or however you personally relate to as being the unseen guides influencing your life) provided. They focused on something they called "Order Effect Theory" which we would understand as systemic effect. In other words, they wanted me to understand the details and importance of what one person does in their life and how it can affect others. In this case, I was reminded of things that had happened in my earlier life. I was a young man who entered the US Air Force in 1971 trying to find a way to remain connected to my intuitive life through aviation. Instead, I found myself on a path that would take me to my first love and losing her in a violent act committed by someone devoid of any moral character. And then, a second love who had been sent, I believe, to help me deal with the earlier loss, but found herself the victim of the same immoral villain. This is a book of fiction. But, it is loosely based on certain events that occurred around these women. With that in mind, this book is dedicated to these two souls who helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life. They will remain private and cherished for many reasons.

Infinite Waste: Space Opera Sci-Fi Adventure

Summary

An eccentric, trigger-happy captain and a level-headed commander vie for control of the starship Gemini, but are forced to mix their two very divided crews when they encounter a space barge full of militarized waste. They say it takes two to tango, but when facing this planet-destroying vessel and the rumor of an ancient, hidden foe in the Umbra, it takes the military might of Captain Skip Sutridge and the scientific genius of Commander Maggie Antwa to be in with a fighting chance. Some say the stars are infinite, but the potential to defy cosmic threats is greater still when divisions are set aside for a greater good. That's a lesson that isn't easily learned by these space-faring twins, but it's not a lesson that will go to waste.
