Summary

The past can be the future. Dr. Albert Snowden enjoys traveling through time, but not when Ziekah, a timeline-traveling foe, sends him into the past against his will. Emily and V encounter Ziekah, as well, leaving Evaran alone to determine where they were sent. Ziekah is crafty, and she knows temporal mechanics well. She’s also ruthless, leaving altered timelines in her wake. With the gang scattered through time, Evaran calls on old friends Jake Melkins and Jelton Stallryn, a Rift Guardian. Together, they will need to find the others, while dealing with Ziekah and her timeline alterations.

The Time Cube

Summary

Time can be a filter. Evaran and the gang travel to a galaxy in the Horologium-Reticulum Supercluster in AD 801,699 to deal with not one summons, as they usually do, but two that are related to each other. The retrieval of Dalton Kingston is one summons, and the second is a day ahead to a ship a few light-years away. The problem is that the summonses lead the gang into the Tenagrin Hegemony, a brutal empire run by the Tenagrins, a snakelike species who have advanced far beyond their natural technological evolution. Another issue is they also want to retrieve Dalton Kingston and have a vested interest in the second summons. Kess, from a previous adventure, joins up for this outing, and with some new allies, they will need to deal with not only the summonses but the Tenagrin Hegemony and a galactic region that fears humanoids.

The Last Lieutenant

Summary

“Powerful and engaging. Truly an inspiring and emotional story of bravery and sacrifice.... a must read.” (Nelson DeMille, number one New York Times best-selling author) The year is 1942. Bataan has fallen to the Japanese. The Philippines seem sure to follow. When a general surrenders the last American outpost in the West Pacific, Navy Lieutenant Todd Ingram refuses to give up the fight. Taking to sea under cover of darkness, he leads his ten man crew to accomplish the impossible: Slip through Japanese naval blockades, travel 1900 miles to Australia, and singlehandedly stop a ruthless Nazi spy. There are no reinforcements. There will be no rescue. And if Todd fails, he won’t just lose his crew.... He’ll lose the woman he loves, too. In the heart-pounding tradition of Ken Follett's Eye of the Needle comes a thriller brimming with raw courage, non-stop action, and an unforgettable villain. Praise for John J. Gobbell and The Last Lieutenant: “There are no greater tales of epic combat than the fight for Corregidor and the Battle of Midway. John J. Gobbell masterfully combines them into a gripping war story that will be considered a classic in the decades to come.” (Clive Cussler) "Gobbell has, for me, personally resurrected the novel of World War II in the Pacific, combining thriller with war novel. [The Last Lieutenant] calls up memories of The Naked and the Dead and James Jones. A first-rate accomplishment." (Thomas Gifford)

Global Strike

Summary

Global Strike - the final book in The War Planners series.  It has been over a year since the war began. A year since China launched its surprise attack on America. EMP and cyber weapons plunging much of the nation into a dark chaos. Thousands of anti-ship missiles gutting the US Pacific fleet. A Chinese-allied North Korea launching an all-out attack on South Korea. Chinese information warfare campaigns triggering America to launch a nuclear strike on China's own nuclear stockpile. And the international political consequences that followed.... The Chinese-American war has grown cold in the past year. The two superpowers are separated by ocean-sized moats. China's strategy is to put America under siege, politically and economically. And it's working. But the flames of war will soon re-ignite. Chinese President Jinshan is not long for this earth. With cancer giving him only a few months left to live, he is ready for his final move. A massive Chinese military transit across the Pacific, and eventually onto American soil. The Americans are preparing. David Manning is one of the top analysts on the joint CIA-DOD Silversmith team, and he's desperately searching for a strategy to win. His brother Chase is working with American special forces and CIA teams in the Chinese-contested territory of South America. Victoria Manning is the commanding officer of a navy helicopter squadron in the eastern pacific. Lena Chou is held prisoner on an American military base. But everything is about to change. Time is running out. And the Americans will need more than technology or bravery to win the war. They will need a plan.
