Summary
Eddy Hart, a not-so-hard-boiled private investigator in 1940s Hollywood, isn’t too happy acting as bodyguard for a big-time comedy duo, who are anything but funny offstage. But, the trouble the comics cause is nothing compared to what happens when Eddy’s future father-in-law arrives in town. Eddy needs to make the right moves to outwit con-artists, corrupt businessmen, and a hitman or two, in order to keep his in-law from becoming an outlaw...or a corpse.
