Lust Takes the White House

Summary

A no-holds-barred novel of high-level Washington politics.

In his effort to force President Robert "Buck" Porter to resign, CIA Director Melvin Shultz follows a "3 B's policy" of bribery, bullying and blackmail to apply pressure on Porter. Shultz, the cynical and intelligent owner of the Lust Cosmetics Company, has earlier manipulated the American Presidential primary system to put Porter into the White House.

Unexpectedly persuaded by Porter to become CIA Director, Shultz soon realizes he has made a horrible mistake and that Porter is so inept his administration will threaten America's future. Shultz must now decide whether to risk disgrace and probable imprisonment by using the same ruthless tactics he employed to elect Porter to force the President to leave office.

Memoirs and Political Observations of a Midwestern W.A.S.P.

Summary

The memoir portion of the book covers my Christian upbringing (first to eighth grades at St John’s Lutheran), my military experience, being stationed in three European countries where I learned two additional languages, travels to more than 25 countries in more than three continents, 60 years of study and training as a martial artist - which included completion in the US and Germany - nearly 48 years as a career police officer, and nearly 15 years as an associate professor of political science.  The rest of the book discusses and evaluates politicians and political parties by Christian/biblical values. Listeners should evaluate the politicians and parties they support by putting them against the Christian yardstick. If they fail to measure up or violate biblical teachings and/or the Ten Commandments, they should seriously consider a change. Continuing to support these politicians make the supporter complicit in their sinful nature and conduct.
