CBT is mostly used everywhere as therapy for anxiety disorders; many researches have been undergone to show that the effectiveness of this treatment of phobia's, generalized disorders, and panic disorder among so many other likely conditions. The fundamental proposition of CBT is that our thoughts and not what happens externally affect how we are feeling, i.e., not exactly the circumstance that you are feeling right now that determines the perception of that particular situation. Example, let's just say that you have been invited somewhere for a party. Let's look at how well you have different ways of viewing the invitation and how this thought can affect your emotional state. Mental health issues imbalance your thoughts. It is my hope that by trying some of these methods, you can learn to reach deep within yourself. By doing this you will begin to make major changes to your life. Mental health imbalances are debilitating to everyday life. The important factor here is that they are curable. When we think of an illness, often we assume the treatment to be pharmaceutical or surgery. Rarely do we stop and understand that the cure could be the power of our own mind. This is where some may accuse us of entering the realms of spiritual practice. Yet, scientific studies show that we can physically alter the processes in our body, by using our minds. When threatened with danger, it is only natural that the brain alerts the rest of our body to take the necessary action. But, sometimes we perceive a danger that isn’t actually there. When that happens, the body begins the process of protection. By learning to recognize the autonomous reactions in your own body, you can learn how to control them. That is how easy it can be. Taking control of those maladaptive thoughts will completely alter your hormonal output. This is not rocket science, but it is medical facts on how the human body works. You will not notice
