Melchizedek: Unmasked

Summary

There are many mysterious characters in the Bible. Even those we know much about are still a mystery. In my estimation, the most mysterious and most misunderstood is Melchizedek. Only one other person comes to my mind who is a close second in his enigmatic nature, and that is Enoch. We know more about Enoch than we do about Melchizedek. If you look up Melchizedek, you will find many people claiming to be of the Melchizedek order. You will also find reference to Melchizedek as an “Ascended Master”. This is a newer development and I would say a tad New Age, with basis only in channeled wisdom. Since that evidence relies on channeled material, I will not include it in this audiobook since there is no way for me to confirm the veracity of the claims. The ancient texts are more concrete about who Melchizedek is. Despite the texts being more definitive, he is still enigmatic, and his nature changes over time.  In this audiobook, I will examine Melchizedek throughout the various traditions in which he is found. I will attempt to use the language of the source material I used to add clarity.  Here is what I will cover in this audiobook: I will shed light on the meaning and origin of the “name” Melchizedek.  I will examine Melchizedek in the Old Testament. It is here where he first appears.  I will examine his role in the New Testament and how various Christian denominations understood Melchizedek.  We will take a brief tour through the Dead Sea Scrolls to see how he is portrayed. In this text, he is an enemy of Belial.  Melchizedek is found in early Rabbinic texts. It is in these documents that his identity changes.  There are a few references to Melchizedek in the Gnostic Gospels and the Apocrypha. I will examine these sources further.  I will examine the writings of the historians Josephus and Philo and how they understood Melchizedek.  Finally, I will present two short but powerful Kabbalistic meditations you can do to tap into his energy. You will not want to miss that.  Let us begin.

Dependent Origination for the Layman

Summary

If you have read my other books, you know that I like to take complex ideas and break them down so they become accessible to all who read it. I will attempt to do so in this book as well. I have always resonated with the Eastern paths and like my work with the Occult, I found that all these teachings are so very technical and complex. If you know me, you know that I think complexity is never a sign that the underlying teaching is effective or any good for that matter. Of course, there are exceptions, but for the most part, there is absolutely no reason for the complexity other than to impede you from understanding. Many Buddhist concepts are not easy to understand. This seems so very counterintuitive since the Buddha himself taught ideas that were simple. Not necessarily easy to apply, but certainly simple. Like almost all religions, ideas start from a simple core set of ideas and then evolve. For example, no one could have possibly conceived that when Jesus first started to preach, that a complex ideological monolith like the Catholic Church would form as a result. Of course, the history is a lot more nuanced than that, but if Jesus did not preach the sermon on the mount, chances are, Christianity would have never formed in any of its forms. It's the nature of humanity to over complicate what is often a simple idea. As they say, put two theologians in a room and come out with three opinions. It is what it is. I am going to try to strip all that away when it comes to Buddhist teachings in my new series Baal on Buddhism. In this volume, I will be discussing a central idea within Buddhism called Dependent Origination. Most are familiar with The Four Noble Truths, which I will cover in a future book, but this particular teaching I will discuss has all of the Buddhist core ideas within it.

Asherah: The Queen of Heaven

Summary

A few books exist on Asherah so I am going to jump in and add my two cents. I found the others to be rather complex. I will do my best to deconstruct it all in this book, but for the sake of brevity I can't go too deep. Like all my books, I will cover the texts and history. I have many old notes that I will clean up and present here. We will discuss Asherah's wide-ranging presence from Akkadian sources all the way through Arabian ones and a few more. We will start with the Old Testament sources first since that is essentially what put her on the map of Intellectual history so to speak. We will also learn more about ways to call upon her and tap into her ancient power. She is, after all, the divine consort of God, the Queen of the Heaven.

The Daemonic Companion

Summary

What you are about to hear is not for the faint of the heart. You will be creating a powerful spiritual entity - an entity that will know you better than you know yourself. It will know all your secrets, your weaknesses, and your strengths. It will also be your servant. It will do whatever you tell it to do, both for good or ill. Although it is you who will create it, its energy and life force traces back deep into primordial time. People throughout history, and even to this day, call upon these entities for help. They aren't quite gods, they aren't quite angels. They are daemons, entities that live between the veil of the spirit and the earth, between the mundane and the esoteric. They are self-existent and yet created by all of us. Many use daemons, yet do not know they do so.

Magick and the Bible: Is Magick Compatible with the Bible?

Summary

This is volume one of the Bible Magick series. In this book we will discuss magick and some of its uses in the Bible. Often we are told that magick and the teachings of the Bible don't mix. We are warned time and time again that if we use magick we are breaking God's law. In this book, I will show you clearly that magick has been used in the Bible by divine command. This book is not a book on how to perform Bible magick, but rather that there is such a thing as Bible magic and that's it's okay to use the Bible for magical purposes. In future volumes, I will go into Bible magick practice itself. This book will serve as background that you will need before starting a biblical magic practice. Using the Bible for magick, although fairly common, is quite controversial. There are clear passages in the Bible that state magick of all kinds is forbidden. Yet, there are so many instances that God himself commands his followers to perform magickal acts. I am not talking about miracles, but He is actually commanding them to preform magick that you would find amongst other magicians of the day. In this book we will examine a few of these occurrences. We will also discuss why the Bible writers forbade magick as well. You won't want to miss that chapter. Let us begin.

Belial: A History

Summary

Belial is, by far, one of the most popular demons in occult lore. He is second only to Satan, and in some circles, he is Satan himself. When looking through the occult literature, one finds rituals to and descriptions of Belial, but there is little to no tangible history. We all take the occult texts as gospel and assume that what we find is all there is regarding Belial. I say this because I have been on countless forums and group pages, and I have read several books in which they often mention Belial. From what I can glean, there seems to be a lot of confusion about his origins and even how to pronounce his name. I created a quick video podcast on how to pronounce his name. You can watch it on my website. I am writing this because I feel with my knowledge of ancient languages and the ability to read and understand source material, as well as my 30 years in the occult, enables me to give more insight into Belial that may not be found in other writings. Please note, this is not a book with rituals for or to Belial. This is an historical narration following Belial’s path from a mere adjective describing worthless and lawless men, to the top of the demon lists of the occult. Considering this, I would like to say that this will not be just a rehashing of his history, but a textual, linguistic, and historical analysis of Belial.  In this audiobook, you will find chapters, like: The Name of Belial and Its Origins Belial in the Old Testament (Hebrew/Greek): I will do a textual and linguistic analysis of the Hebrew Bible and the Greek Septuagint as it pertains to Belial.  Belial in the Pseudepigrapha: It is in these texts that Belial moves into his demonic role. I will examine the texts in greater detail.  Belial in the Dead Sea Scrolls: In these texts, we have Belial taking on a very prominent role in the battle of “light vs darkness”. I will examine the texts in greater depth. Belial in the New Testament: In the New Testament we have reference to Belial using a different name. I will examine this further and compare the Greek descriptions of Belial in the New Testament and other Greek sources.  Belial in the Occult: I will discuss Belial as he is portrayed in the occult. The topic of Belial, as you will see, is not so straightforward. He has evolved over time. I feel, as historians and occultists, this should be understood. Let us move on. We have a lot to cover! Tefillin Magick

Summary

This is unlike any other book I have written to-date. For some, this will be incredibly controversial, especially within certain Jewish groups that are more traditional in their practices. I will get a ton of hate mail for this book, in fact I may even get death threats because the use of Tefillin that I will recommend will be a sacrilege to many people, but also a liberation to some as well. This is okay, because it is my job in this world to provide my listeners with magick that works. If religionists don't like it, they don't have to listen to this book. Many may not be able to perform this magick since they do not have access to Tefillin; that is okay, I will provide resources. I acknowledge that this is certainly a niche topic, of that I am certain. It may not appeal to all my listeners, but I know they will understand why I am writing it and that I have a very good reason for doing so. In this book I will cover: What Teffilin is The various types of Teffilin Why women and non-Jews should use Teffilin The mystical power of Teffilin How to tie the Teffilin What you will need for Teffilin magick Opening prayers for ritual usage I will also cover several rituals such as: Calling forth Adonai, Lord of Hosts for protection Four rituals calling forth the archangels for whatever purpose you desire. Three rituals calling forth demons of the Kabbalah for magickal purposes Liberation from mental bondage Binding one's soul with the four letter name of God I realize this book may not be for everyone, but it might be for you.

Tara Mantra Magick

Summary

For most, the goddess Tara the Goddess of compassion and protection. Few people know that she has several other natures as well; 21 in all. She, like most deities in the eastern religions, whether it be Hinduism or certain forms of Buddhism , have several different natures. As I stated in the book on Kali in this series, I mentioned that many deities have qualities that we, in the west, may consider to be "evil" but in the east, they are considered "wrathful". Tara and her energies are very well suited for use in Magick. More often than not, her energy is loving and embracing. But as I said, she has a wrathful nature that can very much be equated to the Hindu Goddess Durga and perhaps even Kali of the Hindu traditions. This wrathful nature can be harnessed. With that said, let's take a journey through the energies of Tara.

The 99 Names of Allah

Summary

In the first volume of the Sacred Names series, The 72 Names of God: The 72 keys to Transformation, I discuss the power of the name. Knowing a name gives you power. In this book we will discuss the 99 names of Allah, what they are, and how to use them to instill in yourself with the power of God. Throughout the mystical traditions of the world, several traditions stand out as luminaries. One of these luminous traditions is Sufism. Sufism is the mystical tradition of the Muslim faith. Like any spiritual tradition, mystical interpretations are often hinted at in the main body of religious texts, but other books are needed to decipher the inner mysteries of an established canon. This applies to Islam as well. Islam's main holy book is the Quran. A beautifully written and deep tome. Often in the west we do not see the depth of Islam because it has been shrouded in the deeds of a few radical people who have lost the true spirit of the Quran. This is a shame because the Quran is quite a deep book. It is much more than a book on how to conduct one's life. It is a manual for divine enlightenment. Its deeper mysteries are hidden in the text, and voluminous works like the Hadith are used to tease them out. In the Hadith, it discusses the 99 names of God. These names are essentially 99 qualities that God possess. These names are meant as guides in our own life. If you have ever seen pictures of Muslims holding beads in their hands, those beads are used to chant the 99 names of Allah. This tradition is very much embedded in Islamic tradition. In this book, we will learn how to tap into the 99 names of Allah and acquire the 99 divine qualities.

Mary Magick: Calling Forth the Divine Mother for Help

Summary

In every ancient tradition, you will find common threads. Many of the characters are the same in nature and same from story to story. As Carl Jung stated, we all share a common consciousness and thus our divine experiences will be very much the same, despite them being clothed in different garb. When the divine sends messengers to Earth, it brings them down in ways that we can all understand. The divine sent Isis to Egypt, Ishtar to the Babylonians, Diana to the Romans, Aphrodite to the Greeks, and Mary to the monotheistic religions of the west. This is on purpose, to create a continuity in message and aesthetic. Mary is in fact the archetypical emanation of the divine feminine; she is holy, just, and has worked miracles for millions of people. Some call upon her magically and others via prayer. What is prayer if not a form of magick? She is one of the most powerful spiritual forces in the spiritual realms. In this book we will discuss how to perform Mary Magick and tap into her awesome glory and power.

Durga Mantra Magick

Summary

Durga is a very special goddess. When I first encountered her, I was a little hesitant, but I knew deep down I needed to work with her. From 2014-2015, she has guided me. Ever so often, I am guided to work with one specific deity for a prolong period of time. It was Durga's turn then. She is by far one of the most beloved of the Hindu Goddesses. She is fiercely loyal and will pull out all the stops when she is protecting her own. She is, in many ways, a gentler version of Kali, but not quite as gentle as Parvati or Lakshmi. Durga's name means "impassable and invincible." The name is derived from the Sanskrit word for fortress, Durg. She has several forms. In this book , we will deal with her nine forms, also known as Navadurga or literally 'Nine Forms of Goddess Durga.' Each one has a purpose and we will perform nine rituals, one for each form.

The Quantum Magician

Summary

This audiobook is an experiment, and you and I are the test subjects. I have used this technique several times and found it quite effective and increasingly more interesting as I delve deeper into it. Now, I am introducing it to you. Nothing like this has been written to date. These concepts have never been melded in such a way before. In this book, we will be experimenting with a phenomenon called quantum jumping. You have probably heard of this before and, yes, some elements of quantum jumping will be in this book; but that is where the commonalities end. We will be performing magic but not in the way I have explained in my 19 other books. We will be performing magic to influence our lives today but performing the ritual in a parallel universe. You will find your magician doppelgänger whose magic is always effective, and you will meld with him or her. I know this sounds absolutely outlandish and in many ways it is. Despite the oddness of it, it is truly revolutionary. If you do not gain benefits, you can always return this book. One thing is for certain, you will experience magic in a brand new way, you will experience magic on a new level, and you will experience magic like you never have before. Let us explore your quantum magician.

Rabbi Isaac Luria: The Lion of the Kabbalah

Summary

When one thinks of the Kabbalah, they often think of the 10 emanations of the tree of life. It is by far the most popular of the Kabbalistic symbols and rightfully so. It is also the one most, how shall I say, comprehensible of the Kabbalistic principles. Of course, it contains deep mysteries but if one were to attempt to describe its function, it can be done so with ease. This is the aspect of Kabbalah most people are exposed to. There is another deeper side of Kabbalah most people do not know of and that is the Kabbalistic system created by Rabbi Isaac Luria, the Ari as he is known most commonly. Despite this, his work has influenced modern Kabbalistic scholarship to such an extent that the average person would have no idea that these ideas were from this great Rabbi. In this book, I will discuss this great Rabbi and his work and how important he was to Jewish mysticism. In fact, without him, we wouldn't have most of the Kabbalistic understand we do now. Every single work on Kabbalah released to this day is influenced by his work. In this book, we will cover: My experience with Luria's work and my visit to his tomb The Kabbalah in brief Luria in his early years and his holy energy The atmosphere that cultivated his Kabbalistic powers His wide-ranging impact on Kabbalah and the occult A synopsis of many of his known works And finally, Lurianic Kabbalistic meditations you can do on your own With that said, let us proceed!

Baal: The Lord of the Heavens: Calling Down the Great God of Canaan

Summary

The great Canaanite god Baal is one of the most maligned deities in Western religious history. Only Satan is considered more sinister and evil. This is sad because Baal is not evil at all but has been done an injustice, and that is something I will be discussing in great length later in this book.  Despite his falsely ascribed reputation in Western religion, Baal is a mysterious god with qualities very similar to that of Yahweh of the Old Testament. In fact, they might be more alike than you can imagine.  In general, the Canaanite pantheon is one of the most mysterious pantheons of the ancient Middle East. Because of the Western taint, no one has truly discussed Baal in a way that does not reflect the bias. Sure, they have discussed him academically but seldom spiritually without this weird negative bias. Even other books that discuss Baal in magickal practice do so with the inherent Western bias that he is this shady, dark character with sinister motives. Yes, he, like any other god or goddess, has this side, but he was also prayed to and worshiped for good and benevolent reasons as well. He was, in fact a savior-like figure.  In this book, we will not only learn how to call upon this great god magickally, we will also dispel the myths surrounding him. As I do with all my books, I like to discuss history. I am a historian, after all. We will cover: The History of Baal His Various Aspects and Forms His Worship and Pervasiveness in Ancient Biblical Writings A Brief Overview of the Baal Cycle Why Baal Is Unfairly Equated with the Devil in the West Goetic References to Baal from the Most Obvious to the Least And finally, we will learn his great magick. He is very powerful, I must warn you. We have a lot to cover. Let us proceed.

Circe's Wand: Empowerment | Enchantment | Magick

Summary

Some of you who know me know that I have a very powerful relationship with Goddess energy. I find personally that the magick that employs the Goddess is simply more powerful for me. I don't know exactly why. Perhaps it is just my personal experience or my karma that the divine Feminine speaks through and to me. I don't know. But I do know that almost all rituals I perform include the Goddess energy. Not that I don't use male energy at all, I do, but for my personal every day practice, it is rare. A few exceptions do exist such as my work with Shiva the God of the Hindu Pantheon, St. Expedite, and occasionally Ganesh. One Goddess that I resonate very strongly with is Circe, not many know of her in the mainstream occult. I know of her through the many years of study and experimentation. She is quite powerful. There is almost a kind of irritability in her nature which makes her slightly unpredictable, but I find, despite that, she is incredibly powerful. She is known as a Goddess of Witches, a divine sorceress herself. She is born of a sun God and a water nymph, and therefore she has the full range of magickal force behind her. She is most known, in the literature of old, as the Goddess who turned Odysseus's entourage into swine. She is a true witch and sorceress, and it is for this reason I will teach you various ways to tap into her power. I must warn you, she is very powerful and does not "suffer fools lightly" as they say. In this book, we will discuss briefly who Circe is, rituals employing her energy and how to make an essential tool for her magick, a wand. In this book, we will perform the following rituals with Circe: Protection ritual using a talisman pouch Divination using an obsidian mirror For personal empowerment To become seductive to anyone Enchant someone to do your bidding Calling on Circe for physical healing Calling on Circe for prosperity I know you will find this magick with Circe quite powerful.

The Watchers and Their Ways

Summary

Many magickal texts have been written around the Watchers, and I am hoping to add my two cents to the discussion. Several decades ago, I worked with the Watchers. In this book, I have resurrected my notes and will bring some elements forward to reflect current information. For example, any ritual suggestion will still include old elements I used in the 80s, but I will bring it forward to reflect our latest advances, such as the ease of obtaining incense and the like. This book will be extremely heavy in historical and textual analysis. I feel the Watchers are very interesting, and I have not yet found a comprehensive text on them. Existing texts are very general, or they seem to focus on one narrative element. I will try to make my analysis of them as comprehensive as possible. The information is scattered around; I like to bring ideas together and that is what I will do here in this book. I know many just want the magick but I would be doing many and myself an injustice without at least giving the history behind things. I am also a historian so that might be part of it. This is fun for me. Here is a glimpse of what will be covered in this book. Aside from the rituals of course, we will be covering the basics of the Watchers' story as it is understood in Genesis since it is there that the first inkling of the story emerges in the scriptural tradition. I emphasis scriptural because there is evidence that some texts exist that predate Genesis that contain a proto-Watchers narrative. Some of these early stories have some connection to Ancient Mesopotamia; we will discuss that as well. We will, of course, cover the Watcher tradition in the various books of Enoch; that, I suppose, is a given. We will also discuss the Watcher tradition as it relates to texts outside the accepted canon as well.

Tarot Magick

Summary

Occultism and magick is rife with symbols. In fact, the very basis of magick and occult is symbology. Everything is symbolic of some higher truth, from the rituals we perform to the books we listen to. We are immersed in the power and magick of symbols. There are moments in the occultist's and magician's life that require us to pay attention to symbols. Often these symbols can give you insight into your life. The tarot cards are one aspect of occultism that I feel is worth paying close attention to. The symbols, that is. Tarot cards have been used for centuries, some say even thousands of years, to either foretell the future or to give a person a sense of direction towards life in general or for a very specific issue they are having. I have had my tarot cards read several times and I always found them insightful. Yes, it is helpful if the person who is reading the tarot cards for you is knowledgeable, but often the symbols themselves, if you pay close attention, can give you some guidance. Since you do not have control over the cards you draw, the shuffling and choosing of cards becomes an unconscious act. Something, a spirit perhaps, or just your subconscious mind, is guiding your hands to pick the cards that you pick. Some would say even fate herself. In this book, we will not be focusing on tarot cards as a source of knowledge about the future; there are plenty of good books for that. We will be dealing with the tarot cards in a different way: We will be using them as a driving force for magickal practice. It is a fair assessment to say that tarot card symbology is quite powerful, and aside from divination, it can be driving engine for magick. I know personally I used it to get someone back into my life. It worked so well that I needed to have the ritual reversed by a powerful shaman. So please take heed, tarot cards are a very powerful magnet. Their symbols have a spiritual force. PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying reference material will be available in your Library section along with the audio.

Mahavidya Mantra Magick

Summary

If you have heard the other books in the mantra magick series, you know I am a big proponent of Mantras and their magickal applications. Often you see mantras as separate practices from magick. It is my goal through my books to make mantras a mainstay in the western occult traditions. There is no reason they shouldn't be. After all, any occultist worth their salt will be aware that occult powers can be gleaned from many different traditions and that to be well rounded in other methods makes for a powerful practice. In this book, we will discuss the Mahavidya or the "great wisdoms" They are, in fact, 10 emanations of the divine Shakti; the great feminine divine that permeates the entire universe and which makes up much of the Hindu tradition. As I have stated in my other books, the divine feminine is of utmost importance in the eastern traditions. These 10 aspects are no exceptions. In fact, they embody the entire Shakti traditions as far as I am concerned. Why the Mahavidya? The Mahavidya represents as I stated the 10 aspects of the Shakti, from the horrific and blood-curdling goddess on one side and the gentile, soft goddess on the other. They represent the whole spectrum of the divine feminine and thus the universe. In this book, we will not only discuss, but we will learn to use these 10 aspects in our lives. Let us proceed.

The Magickal Moment of Now

Summary

In this book I'm going to deal with what magick is, I'm going to go into why magick works when you actually perform a ritual, of course it does involve spirits and it does involve supernatural powers but there is another reason. If you notice that the more intention you have towards the ritual, the more effective it is, so there is an individual component in every single ritual. In many ways Aliester Crowley was right to say "Do What though wilt shall be be whole of the law" but I'm going to say, yes, unabashed individualism is fine, but it's unabashed individualism within the collective and we have to remember that. No man is an island and those who persecute you are also part of you. We will discuss individuality, embracing of the dark side, being present in life. We will discuss how formality in magick is actually destroying it and making it harder for people to perform it. We discuss the dangers of making magick a form of escapism and of self-aggrandizement. You will learn about embracing your individuality. You will also learn how group consciousness affects your magick. I will also get a bit more personal about some of my own life experiences. With that, let us begin.
