The true stories of the shocking Wehrmacht war crimes and atrocities.... The Second World War was, no doubt, one of the worst experiences mankind has ever faced. From torture to rape to murder, crimes against innocents were innumerable - Adolf Hitler, a diminutive man with the oratorical skills of a genius, took advantage of a sensitive situation in the aftermath of Germany’s defeat in the First World War and amassed enough power to bring the entire European continent to its knees. In the forefront of Hitler’s troops were the Wehrmacht, which had some of the most elite, most powerful, and most brutal soldiers in the world. What’s sad is that at the end of the Second World War, when the Nuremberg Trials took place and most of the WW2 criminals were tried and then punished, the Wehrmacht was declared as not a criminal organization. This was because of a legal technicality and loophole that left them as simply part of the German Armed Forces. Just because they were ruled as "not a criminal organization" doesn’t mean that they weren’t criminals - there are even some who would deny that these men were war criminals, but that lies on par with those who would deny the existence of the Holocaust itself, given that there is ample evidence to prove the evildoing of the Wehrmacht soldiers....

The Second World War was a classic example of how good and evil man can be - where Hitler and his men were doing everything they could to destroy entire races, the Allied Powers of the world came together to fight and rescue the millions caught in the crossfire. Called Ho-Shoah in Hebrew, the Holocaust was, undoubtedly, the most painful and devastating man-made disaster the world has ever seen. In the simplest of terms, it was nothing more than a government sponsored murder trip, in which millions of innocent people lost their lives, simply because one believed - and taught - that his bloodline was better than the rest. From Jews to homosexuals, innumerable people died, their screams echoing through the silences we observe for them even today. In the concentration camps, there were tortures and horrific scientific experiments being conducted on the helpless and the innocent. And in those same concentration camps, there were a few who were quietly rebelling, trying to squirrel away as many lives as they could, trying to spirit them away to safety in the proverbial dead of the night. Some of them even lost their lives in such a noble pursuit; too many of them have been lost to the pages of history, their bravery and selflessness unknown but never truly forgotten. The Holocaust remains a stark reminder of how dark humanity can be. But it also reminds us of how much light we can possess and how easily we can make an impact on someone's life. Given the chance, man has the ability to flip a switch and turn his entire being around - whether that flip turns you into an angel or a demon is up to you to decide. If you are interested in learning about these amazing rescuers who went through the Holocaust, you have come to the right place!

From the dawn of time, women have been perceived as the caretakers, as nurturers and as mothers. They are seen as delicate creatures, to be protected and taken care of. Many a time, this argument has served more than one chauvinist who sought to keep the woman bound to his wishes, unable to do anything beyond the quintessential cooking and cleaning and rearing of the children. Yet, given the chance, women have proven themselves time and time again, going above and beyond the call of duty. For all that they are perceived to be the physically weaker of the two accepted sexes, it is the female who carries a full human being within her. Both the world wars left an indelible mark on the earth; the face of humanity was forever altered, both during and in the aftermath. Millions lost their lives, and rebuilding was an effort that took decades. There were a number of women who became spies, particularly during the Second World War, sneaking behind enemy lines to gather information and performing other duties to help win the war. These are unsung heroes, often forgotten in the face of their more famous, "stronger" male counterparts. Here is a preview of what you'll learn.... War is perhaps that one occurrence that has held captive the attention of man for eons after it is over. This is quite natural as well, for the repercussions of war are such that the aftershocks are felt long after the last bomb was dropped and the last cannon boomed. We as human beings find it irresistible to turn back the pages of history and go over and dissect certain incidents and happenings that we believe warrants repeated scrutiny. This is not so much because of our tendency to learn from our mistakes but more from our need to revisit what had transpired in the past. The instigator and the mastermind behind the Holocaust, Adolf Hitler of Germany, was at the forefront of the Second World War and ruined millions of lives, throwing the entire European continent into chaos. Not only was he hated by the whole world, even some of his own military commanders didn't like him. Most leaders around the world rely on one, maybe two bodyguards to keep them safe. Even the President of the United States today has only one or two teams of security personnel; while there may be many men and women who take turns to protect their leader, the numbers are not as big as you would expect. We will look at the origins of a number of bodies, such as the Sturmabteilung or the SA, the Schutzstaffel (the SS) and the many other sub-sections of the SS such as the FBK, the LSSAH, etc., all of which were tasked with protecting Hitler. From the background, we will move on to individual accounts of men who served on these teams - they were Hitler's personal bodyguards and some stayed with him until the very end. Humanity's depraved nature came to the fore with these men; despite having a master who was truly mad and ravenous for blood, they served him loyally. Was it because they were also as depraved as he was? Or were they afraid for their lives and did what they had to, to survive?
