Why Argue with Yahweh, He Still Gets the Job Done

Summary

All the characters I have written about are my biblical favorites. They were strong and Yahweh choose to use them in the time frame that they were to be used. For many of us, Yahweh is doing the same thing. He has chosen to speak to us and give us assignments which can be very critical. He may call us to rescue a nation, rescue a family or rescue children. Speak to Government officials or warn Presidents, all because he is Yahweh and he knows the end from the beginning. We are also his hands and feet in the earth so why argue with the almighty? I have listened to many who have talked about how they argued with Yahweh when they were told to do certain things but I have also listened and heard them say that they eventually did what he said and it was profitable.Yahweh loves us and would never put us in harm’s way deliberately but like Jeremiah, Gideon, and others, he would tell us of the dangers and of his promised protection. I trust that after listening to this short novel, you will be encouraged to trust The Almighty One without an argument.

Double Trouble

Summary

Frederique Toenes was the pastor of a small vibrant church in Jonestown, Virginia. His wife Dorothy and their teenage daughter Merlene were not as committed as he was to the faith, so on several occasions, Dorothy stirred up confusion with accusations, both in the home and in the church. Merlene began an intimate relationship with a neighbor Mr. Seatone, whose daughter Eastlyn lived a miserable life, trying to take care of her mother who was in deep depression over her husband’s disloyalty to her. Eastlyn and her mother did not know that it was the pastor’s daughter causing the trouble for their family so she tried hard to confide in Pastor Toenes, but his wife did not allow that to happen by posing violent threats. This triangle which involved lies, accidents, and death eventually brought both families to their senses and a time of forgiveness and repentance. Eventually, the church, which had become a place of chaos, was, once again, restored to the vibrant church they once had.

Summary

Jonathan Lier was a tall ruddy boy who miraculously survived an abortion. He grew up as the adopted son of Steven Lier and his mother. All his life, he was tormented by his biological mother who tried on many occasions to take him away from his adopted parents. Jonathan fought with tenacity to fit into the world of normality despite the odds of physical impediments and accidents. His final goal was to be an obstetrician because, as he said, “I want to know what causes a mother to abandon the birth of a child and to be the change agent for such traumas”. With the prayers of his schoolteacher and miraculous healings, Jonathan became first a star basketball player and then a renowned obstetrician. He finally reunited with his biological mother who, like Jonathan, never gave up her quest for ownership. Jonathan, his biological mother, and his adopted mother died at a good old age, especially Jonathan, who achieved all that he had set out to do, creating a world of possibilities for the unwanted. If you have not listened to volume one of Miracle of the Aborted Fetus, take a moment and listen to the story before you listen to this one.

Panic in the Basement

Summary

Mr. and Mrs. Kliene were founders of the Kliene Hospital for the Ailing. After their death, their will was probated, and everything was left in the jurisdiction of Doctor Slogg, whom they found trustworthy to continue the care of the hospital. Dr. Slogg, his wife, Mariee, and four children enjoyed the luxury of a beautiful chateau on a lake near the hospital. Although he was a man of integrity and protocol, he had never engaged himself in the spiritual life and beliefs of the deceased, so when the town senators and lawmakers approached him to build a wing in the hospital to accommodate unwanted pregnancies, Dr. Slogg and his wife consented to the request. Immediately, they began having nightmares of dead fetuses in boxes and babies screaming, "Don’t kill us." Despite the nightmares, they continued to conduct a series of abortions at the new wing of the hospital, but years later, another law was instituted to shut down the wing and cease the abortion procedures. The majority ruled to have the wing closed and all funding ceased. All the babies who were left to die in incubators were taken to the basement. It was then that rumors began to spread around the hospital of strangers in the basement. Dr. Slogg decided to go into the basement alone, and what transpired changed his life, his family, the town, and the hospital forever.
