Tales from an Ex-Husband

Summary

Imagine it.

You're sitting at a bar, restaurant, or some other public hangout. You can't help it, but you overhear a conversation. The content catches your ear. It's someone's personal story, struggle, and woes. Not to be a Nosey Nelly, you try to overhear this guy telling his table of buddies a horrendous tale of love, life, and betrayal. It sounds like he went through an ordeal. It's free gossip. It's juicy news. It's also comforting to hear you weren't alone in your nasty blowout relationship.

That's what it's like to listen to this book.

The story delves deep into personal experiences, tragedies, and most of all, abuse. Chapter by chapter, the story unfolds to explore the turbulent relationship with an ex-wife, from meeting back in High School to the ultimate fall of the relationship at the hands of extramarital relationships. Along the way, many people were players in this tale of love, hate, and humor. As it unfolds, the tale will prove humorous, serious, and just plain old head-shaking crazy. Dodging and weaving the crazy, we will go through various mental stages, crazy WTF moments, and sometimes comical points in time throughout the journey.

Spooky Tales and Scary Things

Summary

A compilation of short stories. The stories are written based on true-ish stories that happened, or almost happened.  "The General": An ordinary night. An ordinary guy. Freddy had no idea what he was in for. A demon who can pass from person to person, just by the sheer mention of his story. Plagued by this demon named The General, Freddy is faced with the decision to pass this curse off to someone else, or meet his ultimate end at the hands of this ancient being.  "Demon Dog": Young Robin is plagued by nightmares of an evil dog. The dog shows up in nightmares, and she cannot break away from how vivid the dreams are. Being scared to go to bed, afraid of the dark, and terrified of the closet is standard fare for the average eight-year-old, but what if there was more to be seen lurking in the shadows?  "Bathell": The Demon Bathell. An urban legend told between friends who are very much assuming that he is not real. Once conjured, Bathell will haunt and hunt you, killing you in the most terrifying way: Using your worst fear as your death device. Reaching into your mind, it pulls out what terrifies you most, to ensure your end is the most unpleasant possible.
