On y donnait une version radiophonique du Dom Juan de Molière, dans une mise en scène de Jean Vilar, enregistrée en public à Chaillot. Jean Vilar interprétait Dom Juan, Daniel Sorano était Sganarelle, et Monique Chaumette, Elvire. Avec eux sur scène : Georges Wilson, Georges Riquier, Philippe Noiret et Jean Topart. Cette pièce radiodiffusée, dont le deuxième acte avait été coupé, était suivie d'un débat animé par Philippe Dechartre au lycée Louis-Le-Grand. Don Juan ou Le Festin de Pierre est une comédie de Molière en cinq actes et en prose dont la "Troupe de Monsieur frère unique du roi" donna quinze représentations triomphales en février et mars 1665 sur le théâtre de la grande salle du Palais-Royal à Paris. Elle donne à suivre les trente-six dernières heures de la vie du jeune Dom Juan Tenorio, "esprit fort" et grand amateur de femmes, flanqué tout long des cinq actes de Sganarelle, valet couard, glouton et friand de disputes intellectuelles. Provocateur impénitent, Dom Juan n'échappera pas à la vengeance du Ciel, qui le châtiera par le bras d'une statue de pierre. Summary
Le Tartuffe ou l'Imposteur est une comédie de Molière en cinq actes et en vers créée le 5 février 1669 sur la scène du Théâtre du Palais-Royal. Orgon est l'archétype du personnage de cour tombé sous la coupe de Tartuffe, un hypocrite et un faux dévot. Il est, ainsi que sa mère, Madame Pernelle, dupe de Tartuffe. Ce dernier réussit à le manipuler en singeant la dévotion et il est même parvenu à devenir son directeur de conscience. Il se voit proposer d'épouser la fille de son bienfaiteur, alors même qu'il tente de séduire Elmire, la femme d'Orgon, plus jeune que son mari. Démasqué grâce à un piège tendu par cette dernière afin de convaincre son mari de l'hypocrisie de Tartuffe, Tartuffe veut ensuite chasser Orgon de chez lui grâce à une donation inconsidérée que celui-ci lui a faite de ses biens. En se servant de papiers compromettants qu'Orgon lui a remis, il va le dénoncer au Roi. Erreur fatale : le Roi a conservé son affection à celui qui l'avait jadis bien servi lors de la Fronde. Il lui pardonne et c'est Tartuffe qui est arrêté. "Mais où sont les neiges d'antan... Cueillez dès aujourd'hui les roses de la vie... Madame se meurt, madame est morte... Il neigeait, il neigeait toujours..." Les pages qu'il faut connaître, parce qu'elles font partie intégrante du patrimoine de la France, que les jeunes par conséquent ont à apprendre - et y a-t-il procédé plus séduisant et plus efficace que d'entendre ces pages enregistrées dans la plus pieuse fidélité au génie créateur ? Les pages qu'il faut connaître... et qu'en fait tant de Français et d'étrangers connaissent et savent par cœur !
