There should be more to life than just surviving, even in a postapocalyptic world gone to hell. A lonely 18-year-old, Kris Robertson left his mountain hideaway only to discover a deserted city of isolated individuals scrambling over the debris. Young girls being abducted, wild dogs attacking people. Scared young people hiding from raiding parties and each other. Scavenging for a life among the remains of the past. There is no community, no one in charge. Kris must decide whether to assume that responsibility or walk away. When Kris saves two young girls from a slaver's raiding party, the decision is made for him. He discovers he is responsible for others' well-being and always will be. Realizing the only safety is in a community working together, Kris and his collected band of misfits create a sanctuary on the rooftops of the city. A place away from the wild animals and wilder men. Unfortunately anything good, anything of value, will be coveted by others. Kris and his friends must fight to save what they have built or run and never be a family again.

"I could be red... I could be green... I could be somewhere in between.... " Diversity comes to life in the night sky of a faraway world where being different is quite normal.

A group of friends, Kevin, Carl, Mike, and Susan, decided to go hiking in the woods near an abandoned cabin. As they were walking along the trail, they found a gold ancient artifact. It looked like a medallion. The artifact had strange engraved symbols on it and was attached to a long chain. The group of friends kept the strange-looking artifact with them as they were hiking. They took it to the cabin. Later that night, as they were getting all settled in, everyone noticed that it had a strange bright orange glow. As the night grew deeper, a series of unexplained paranormal events began to occur in the cabin. From that moment on, the camping trip suddenly turned into a frightening moment to surpass. The ancient medallion belonged to a Frenchman who dwelled in the area during the 16th- and 17th-century time period. He was a Frenchman of high statue during his time period. The medallion was a symbol of great power. He often worked on the structure of a castle. The group of friends consider turning the ancient historical medallion in for a reward, but the paranormal activity in the house grew stronger and stronger. Susan believes the Frenchman wants them to finish some work for him at the castle, many miles away from their house, and return the medallion - or the paranormal activity wouldn't stop. The castle had been abandoned for many centuries and is now a tourist attraction.

A comprehensive treatment of all the important points about all of Facebook would require a multivolume specialized encyclopedia of thousands of hours of content. That is not happening here. To bring the focus back to my little audiobook about my small corner of Facebook: I start the audiobook with my wall posts of July 12, 2014 and travel back in time to March 11, 2014. I did not include any of my friends' responses to any of my posts, to respect their privacy. In this short audiobook, I have included poetry I have written, memes covered by fair-use copyright laws, and my own personal captions on my own posts, whenever I felt they added color. I do not always date posts in this audiobook, as I don't always date women who express an interest in me. All's fair in love and Facebook, my friends. To be completely transparent, my subtitle, "Sex, Lies, and My Crazy Life in New York City" is based on keywords to generate listeners. Psaw! I want you to know gentlemen still exist. I am a gentleman, and a gentleman never kisses and tells in an audiobook.
