Summary

The basic tenet of attachment theory is that a person's emotional attachments influence the ways in which the individual deals with problematic situations. And the way one deals with problematic situations influences the person's relations with others. This book explains what attachment theory is and how mental illness in adults, including relationship problems, can be explained in terms of it.
