Fidelio
Summary
Leonore und Florestan wollen durch die Gassen Sevillas stromern. Als Florestan zur Verabredung nicht erscheint, beginnt Leonore ihn zu suchen. Als Junge verkleidet und unter dem falschen Namen Fidelio gelangt sie ins dunkle Kellerquartier der Pizarro-Bande. Leonore findet Florestan und befreit ihn. Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) gab bereits mit sieben Jahren sein erstes Klavierkonzert. Später komponierte er ununterbrochen und schuf über 140 große und kleine Werke. Er notierte Ideen für 50 Opern, vollendete jedoch nur eine einzige und brachte diese 1805 in Wien zur Uraufführung: "Fidelio". Im Alter ließ sein Gehör so stark nach, dass er Hörrohre und Notizzettel zur Verständigung brauchte - beim Komponieren wurden von ihm die Klaviere regelrecht "zertrümmert".
