The Tao Te Ching is easily one of the most cherished and beloved spiritual works in existence. It is a short, to the point, truly non-denominational work that has been translated into English more times than any other work but the Christian Bible. It is considered by many to be a living treasure. The teachings of the Tao Te Ching (pronounced Dow Deh Jing) are based on the works of Lao Tzu, an ancient Chinese philosopher who recorded, as best he could, his teachings into 81 brief, concise chapters, creating a treatise many consider to be nothing short of a definitive manual on the art of successful living. Lao Tzu, in his work, was able to address and dissect the essential, core questions and dilemmas and dramas of life that we all face, and then guide us through them to a life of understanding, cooperation, compassion, and inner peace. The Tao Te Ching is about wisdom in action. Its teachings are as if a balm for the “predicament” of being alive. Many of Lao Tzu’s teachings will sound simple, and possibly familiar, for they encompass the underlying themes of human life. But learning the exact significance and meaning of the teachings, and how to actually live them in daily life, have alluded most members of the human race since the beginning of our species. Once understood and put into actual practice, Lao Tzu’s teachings have the potential to transform your existence, and even your understanding of existence. This translation is a modern, simplified interpretation. One that updates the ancient language to a more modern understanding, yet without touching the spirit of Lao Tzu’s timeless work, or altering his guidance towards working with the principles of the universe instead of against them. “If you correct your mind, the rest of your life will fall into place.” (Lao Tzu) Please note: this book was originally titled The Wisdom and Peace of the Teachings of the Tao Te Ching.

Deeper meanings of the Tao Te Ching made simple. In 81 brief, truly nondenominational chapters, the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu outlines the pitfalls of being alive while also offering us a path to successful navigation. According to Lao Tzu, the root problem of humanity is that we attempt to swim against the tides of life instead of aligning our efforts with its own. As a result, we struggle needlessly. Work in tune with the universe, not against it, and the struggle ends, says Lao Tzu. This approach is both practical and spiritual, for in following Lao Tzu’s advice, a person’s life can not only become simpler and easier, but it can also become a path to higher knowledge. Find and enter the intelligence in charge of the flow of life and spirit becomes evident in even the most mundane of activities. This is my second translation of the Tao Te Ching. The first (Tao Te Ching 101) was written as a beginner’s guide for a friend who grew up in a strict religious household where denominations, religions, and philosophies other than the family’s own were not allowed. This translation goes a bit deeper. Notice that great works such as this one have many depths to their meanings. In fact, the meanings found in the verses of works such as the Tao Te Ching tend to change depending on the circumstances of the individual reading them. Join me and see where these verses find you now. "It is here, now, staring you right in the face. You can find it whenever you’re ready." (Lao Tzu) Scroll up and buy the audiobook today.

Looking for a safe and simple investing method that doesn't take years of academic market study? Then you will love this audiobook. The reason most people do not invest for themselves is because they feel they cannot safely or effectively do it without an in-depth knowledge of the market and everything in it. This has not been my experience, and this is what this audiobook is about. I spent years learning both fundamental and technical analysis of the markets. I spent years following TV and internet gurus. I spent years reading books and learning and testing out different investing and trading strategies- from the unbelievably complicated to the unabashedly simple. What I discovered, over years of trial and error, was three things. First, that I can do at least as good as the experts on TV, and usually better. Second, that my money is safer with me controlling it than with anybody else. And last, that the simpler the approach, the better the returns, and the more enjoyable the process becomes. In my experience, you do not need to understand the inner workings of the market in order to make good returns. You do not need to be able to evaluate the fundamentals of a company as well as Warren Buffett or be an expert at chart reading to make good money. You don't even need to know most of the fancy terms out there- like Bollinger Bands, Fast Stochastics, Slow Stochastics and RSI's. In short, you don't need to spend years academically studying the markets in order to make very good returns. If you are looking for a guide to understanding a wide variety of market terminology and investing options, as well as an academic study of the inner workings of the market, this audiobook is not for you. Instead, Investing 101 is a bare-bones, cut-to-the chase, results oriented blueprint to making real money in the market. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or one of the many investing "dummies", Investing 101 teaches a basic and simple investing strategy that works without an in-depth, collegiate level understanding of the markets. This book covers the few definitions and inner workings you do need to understand in order to stay safe and make the strategy work for you. I will show you how to let the experts, like Warren Buffett, do the investing for you, while you ride their success trains. I will show you how to invest both conservatively and aggressively - and I recommend you do both. I have a website set up for you with training videos, should you need them, and I have a newsletter you can subscribe to if you want more help. In short, I offer many tools for you to use to do your own investing safely and effectively, and without taking up hours of your free time. In only minutes per week, you can take charge of your own financial future! Buy this audiobook today! Since the beginning of time, humankind has pondered the meaning of life, the extension of life beyond this world, and the existence of a God or creator. The Hermetica is the second major work of the Ancient Egyptian philosopher Hermes Trismegistus, who is reported to have had an awakening during an extended period of meditation. During this awakening, Hermes, much like Jesus and Buddha later on, claims to have been exposed to the meaning of life, the presence of a world beyond this world, the existence of God, and the secret of our immortality. The Hermetica is his account of the experience. "Just as we were developed for this world in the womb, so too are we being developed for the next world within these bodies." "Just as we emerged from the world of our mother's womb into this world, so too will we emerge from the world of these bodies into the next...""

The Bhagavad Gita (or “Song of God”) is one of the richest, most complete, and most important spiritual works ever composed. Its teachings have been a timeless source of inspiration, wisdom, and guidance for over a thousand years. The Gita (as it is affectionately known) is laid out as the story of a regular person Arjuna, who has become despondent after coming to see life as a meaningless, pointless, and never-ending struggle. Arjuna is ready to quit. Sound familiar? Krishna (a mysterious friend and hero of the story) comes to Arjuna in his time of need and counsels him on the meaning of life as well as the path that leads to purpose and deliverance. What does Arjuna find at the end of his journey? Meaning. Tranquility. Enlightenment. Because the struggles Arjuna faced and suffered from are the same as those we face today, the teachings of the Gita are every bit as pertinent in our era as they were over a thousand years ago when it was first recorded. I designed my version of this enduring classic to be concise, modern, and accessible to all listeners, even those with no prior knowledge of Hindu philosophy. “We behold what we are, and we are what we behold.” (The Bhagavad Gita) Scroll up and discover the majesty of the Gita for yourself!
