Summary

Have you ever watched someone expertly weave a tale of lies and manipulation so skillfully that you could not believe how they were able to do so without a single inkling of guilt? Have you watched on as someone seemed to speak with a silver tongue, almost magically compelling those around them to do seemingly anything? When they finish, no matter how much they hurt the other party or how selfish their actions, they do not seem to care one bit. The havoc they wreak is wholly justifiable to them simply because they can get what they want. They can do this because they utilize dark psychology. Many people recognize that a comprehensive understanding of psychology can be essential when you are trying to sway others, but when you are willing to utilize dark psychology, you take things one step further. Those who utilize dark psychology can put aside their feelings. They can keep from feeling guilty as they go against the best interest of the people involved. They can tap into the darkness within humanity with ease - the darkness that exists within every person that gives them the potential to be a predator. While this potential is within every individual, surprisingly few ever give in to its influence. Very few people legitimately want to be defined by their propensity for dark behavior - they can keep that darkness in check.  Those who have the potential to use dark psychology are often so charismatic, so enticing, that the victims that feel drawn to them, much like a moth to a flame, do not see the toxicity that lies within the very interactions with these people. They will seek to get closer and closer to the enigmatic user of dark psychology without understanding why they feel compelled to do so until they realize they are burning.  It seeks to understand the motivations behind such heinous actions, as well as the various techniques that those who utilize dark psychology tend to favor. Dark psychology analyzes each of these concepts, recognizing the inherent power involved in the act of controlling someone else. It requires a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of the human mind to control another person, whether through manipulation or persuasion, and that understanding is what those who study dark psychology seek to gain. Those who have a natural tendency toward utilizing the art of dark psychology, typically characterized by the dark triad of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy, seem to have this understanding of how people work inherently - they do not have to spend the time actively studying the reactions of those around them and following their instincts. They may not even be aware of the tactics they are using at the moment, simply following their instincts deeper and deeper into the darkness within them without remorse or guilt for the collateral damage they cause along their way. While dark psychology is inherently controlling of other people simply because it either sways or forces someone to do something that the controller wants, it is not necessarily evil. It is entirely possible to dip your toe into the darkness within you, tapping into the ability to understand and persuade others without causing harm. In this book, you will learn more about: Understanding Dark Psychology Manipulation and Emotional Exploitation The Empath Persuasion

Psychology of Persuasion

Summary

Persuasion provides information that we take in and listen to, but we do not always question. When we process information, we do our best to run through all aspects of our brain to find a solution or further expand on a thought. We look at our past and relate what we learned to something we already know. The information might spark more curiosity, causing us to question it and then can influence us to do something or persuade us to think a certain way. When making decisions, we do our best to inform ourselves, but we do not automatically look at all the outcomes. If you have to decide between purchasing a red shirt or a blue shirt, you might first just look at the shirt you like more and go with it. You may also consider other aspects. For example, you could consider that you have blue eyes that get brighter while wearing blue, or maybe, you want to go with the red one because you do not wear that color as often.   With different decisions come different deciding factors and lengths of time in which we question aspects. When we have any trouble making decisions, we look to other people to help out, which is often when we become influenced by people who are quicker with tactics that go unnoticed by us. There is a lot of room for influence in the brain, so it is important to recognize how the process works.   Our brains are very complex and can still be greatly influenced by many different factors. Like with the shirt, the color might be an instant deciding factor, or perhaps, it could be the price or the location of the store. As an influencer, you know how to look at factors from all standpoints.   You can determine the deciding factors for people before they can so that you are better equipped to develop persuasive solutions. You know what someone might think before they do, so you have created a solution for them. When you appear to be someone with answers, it will help individuals who have trouble making decisions look to you for help, giving you the power to influence.   But do you ever take time to decide how the words and pictures that you consume play a part in what you think, or what the motives were behind sending them to you in the first place? Much like a loaded gun in the hands of someone who doesn’t know how to shoot, persuasion techniques can sometimes have unintended consequences that can be devastating. If you don’t realize what the warning signs are or how you can protect yourself from those consequences, ensure you aren’t unintentionally harming yourself.  In this audiobook, you will learn more about: Dark psychology and persuasion The basic techniques of persuasion Mind control Seduction Employing manipulation and persuasion to get what you want Real social skills Persuasion and defense against it Neuro-linguistic programming and manipulation Manipulation techniques Negotiation Developing emotional awareness steps Ways to persuade people And more! How to Analyze People

Summary

How much of our ancestral legacy do we still hold onto? The answer is certainly a substantial amount, and that is largely due to our limbic system or our “old mammalian brain”. Regardless of how much we have developed as individuals or civilization and society have, in general, we still cannot fully escape the influence these primitive brain structures have over us. However, we still learn a lot from our environment. Larger, more conscious movements and mannerisms of the limbs can be culturally rooted. That is why it’s important to assess the contextual cues, first and foremost. This starts with assessing the cues which are likely to trigger certain behavioral traits. These can be both external and internal, but will always be the subsequent driver of the proceeding behavior.   The next thing to watch out for are the changes - the sequences of signals which allow you to pick up on mood more easily. Large shifts in body language displays will almost always occur in clusters or in a grouping of mannerisms, allowing you to much more reliably pick up on these changes when they occur.  The fourth consideration is regarding the character and culture of the individual or group of people you are assessing. As I mention, the subconscious cues are almost always the same within everyone, but the larger and more overt body movements and gestures can be very much interpersonal, depending on somebody’s upbringing and background. Try to assess for their baseline behavior and adjust your thinking either way.   Context can play a huge role in accurately assessing the momentary behavior of others, and credence should certainly be given to the situational settings you find yourself in. Discount any contextual etiquette within formal and business settings, for instance. These factors shouldn’t be the only lens by which you are assessing somebody’s intention with regards to their body language, but considerations that would be wise to take on board, nonetheless.    However, analyzing people isn't just about mannerisms and gestures. You still have to pay attention to the words these people are choosing to use. Care must be taken here as language can be a great mask for intention. However, you can still deduce a great deal about a person’s mind-set if you know what you are looking for within their vocabulary. This will come down to the adjectives and describing words the person chooses to use. The emphasis they place on the base nouns and verbs within their sentences to accentuate meaning. This will show much about their current mind-set.   In this audiobook, you will learn more about: All Starts with the Brain Basics of Body Language Breathing Posture and Body Orientation Analyzing Personality Types How to Spot a Lie Five Personality Types and How to Manage Them Spotting Romantic Interest From Analysis to Influence Analyzing People via Their Verbal Statements Confidence and How It Is Displayed Speed Reading And more!
