Gundry's The Plant Paradox: The Hidden Dangers in "Healthy" Foods That Cause Disease and Weight Gain includes a summary of the audiobook, a review, analysis & key takeaways, and a detailed "About the Author" section. Preview: Steven Gundry's The Plant Paradox is a diet book, which argues that many fruits and vegetables are dangerous to your health. Gundry says that a plant protein called lectin is responsible for obesity, and many autoimmune disorders. Gundry offers a diet that eliminates lectins, GMOs, and other toxins. This diet will allow people to reduce weight, improve health, and eliminate a wide range of conditions including diabetes, heart disease, lupus, and more. Lectins are plant toxins. Plants evolved lectins as poisons to discourage insects from eating plant seeds or other parts of the plant. Lectins are in most plants, and can cause sickness in humans. Eating good plants is vital for health, but many plants we typically think of as "healthy," are actually full of lectins, which cause damage to the body.

Summary, Analysis, and Review of Erik Larson's The Splendid and the Vile

Summary

PLEASE NOTE: This is a summary, analysis, and review of The Splendid and the Vile and not the original book.  With a firm grasp of the British struggle under German aggression, Larson crafts a story of epic proportions, taking the listener on a journey of novel insight and unexpected emotion. It’s not about Churchill so much as his preservation of all that Britain valued as a civilization at the height of the Second World War.  What Does this Start Publishing Notes' Summary, Analysis, and Review Include? Summary of the original book Easily digestible takeaways distilling the main ideas An overview of key events in Germany's campaign against Britain A look at how Churchill's leadership saved the free world Editorial review & analysis Background on Erik Larson About the Original Book: Who knew that so much could happen over the course of twenty months in Great Britain? Erik Larson has managed to extrapolate a poignant rendition of 1940 to 1941, as the British Isles took a final stand for Europe, and the United States deliberated about whether to enter the war. It’s a little bit of history under a mountain of inspiration, where the leadership of heroes was only eclipsed by the bravery of those who followed them. You’ll laugh and cry, and you’ll certainly learn something about what it means to be human. DISCLAIMER: This book is intended as a companion to, not a replacement for, The Splendid and the Vile. She knows that you can, too. There's one prerequisite: belief. You need to sincerely believe that you have the power to change everything in your life with positive thoughts. You must also believe in God. This God doesn't need to be a formal religious figure; in fact, Sincero prefers to think of God using the vague spiritual term "Source Energy." To access Source Energy, you must think positive thoughts. Good thoughts attract good things; negative thoughts accomplish exactly the opposite.

Cover art for Summary, Analysis, and Review of Amor Towles' A Gentleman in Moscow

Summary, Analysis, and Review of Amor Towles' A Gentleman in Moscow

Summary

Please note: This is a key takeaways and analysis of the book and not the original book. Start Publishing Notes' Summary, Analysis, and Review of Amor Towles's A Gentleman in Moscow: A Novel, includes a summary of the book, review, analysis & key takeaways, and a detailed "About the Author" section. A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles, is a novel about Count Alexander Ilyich Rostov, a Russian aristocrat who is condemned by Communists to spend the rest of his life confined in the Metropol, the capital's most glamorous hotel. The story opens on his trial in 1922, where he's shown leniency as a reward for having written a revolutionary poem that pre-dated the Russian Revolution. The only catch? If Rostov ever leaves the hotel, he will be executed. The novel unfolds over the course of the 32 years that Rostov spends under house arrest. The first thing to know about Count Rostov, is that he didn't write the poem, his best friend Mishka did. The pair conspired to publish it under Rostov's name because, at the time, Mishka - who was not an aristocrat like Rostov - would have been murdered by the czar's regime for dissonance. Rostov, in sharp contrast, was then a member of the protected class. By the time the revolution began in 1918, Rostov was living in Paris. In the face of certain danger, he returned to Russia to help his grandmother shutter her estate. When that task was complete, he took up residence in one of the Metropol's finest suites.
