She sets out to prove to him she’s more than up to the task. Nothing will stand in her way, not even love. Rafael Conte Leone is traveling to attend the wedding of one of his closest friends. He never imagined he’d meet the woman of his dreams on a train, but he fully intends to do everything possible to win her heart. Even help her take the mantle of one of the largest candy suppliers in the country. The problem is convincing the lady that they belong together. With Christmas around the corner, miracles are a very real possibility. Both Rafael and Aletha start to believe they could have it all with the magic of love.

David Copperfield

Summary

In a comprehensive and beautifully crafted first person narrative, David Copperfield recalls key stages, memories, and incidents of his life from infancy to maturity. Scenes, adventures, and characters are summoned to the narrator's remembrance so vividly that they are rendered with the vitality of the present moment.  In this dramatized reading of the unabridged novel, a cast of 15 narrators bring to life over 100 characters; among them the eccentric Betsey Trotwood; the stern, inflexible Murdstones; the fawning and treacherous Uriah Heep; the captivating Dora Spenlow; and the impecunious but ever optimistic Wilkins Micawber. David Copperfield is the eighth novel by Charles Dickens, first published as a serial in 1849 – 1850, and then as a book in 1850. Saint Joan

Summary

Saint Joan by George Bernard Shaw Presented by The Online Stage According to George Bernard Shaw, Joan of Arc was in fact one of the first Protestant martyrs. She was one of the first apostles of nationalism, and the first French practitioner of Napoleonic realism in warfare. She also refused to accept the specific woman's lot, and dressed and fought and lived as men did. Shaw's exploration of the story of this ingenuous and eponymous heroine is set in six scenes and an epilogue, which takes place on 1456, when the church cleared Joan of the charge of heresy and condemned her accusers of corruption. The ghost of Joan appears and, later, an emissary from the year 1920, to announce Joan's canonization.  This production also includes a very condensed version of Shaw's lengthy preface.  Cast:  Narrator and Duchess de la Trémouille - Anna Grace Robert de Baudricourt, Sentry and Courcelles - Graham Scott   Joan - Amanda Friday Bertrand, D'Estivet and Gentleman - Jeff Moon Archbishop and First Assessor - David Stifel De la Trémouille, John de Stogumber and Executioner - Denis Daly Steward and Warwick - Alan Weyman La Hire, Second Assessor and English Soldier - Phil Benson Bluebeard and Ladvenu - David Shears Charles (Dauphin) - Tom Saer Dunois and Third Assessor - Andy Harrington Cauchon - Peter Tucker Inquisitor - Noel Badrian Page - Sarah Bacaller Audio edited by Denis Daly
