I’ve been to many weddings in my lifetime, but planning one has definitely been an eye-opener for me. I learned a lot about the hidden expenses that you don’t think about until you’re knee-deep in the plans. We were able to cut out a lot of these, as well as a lot of the extras, and still have a beautiful wedding. Luckily, we had friends and family that were willing to contribute to our beautiful day, so that saved us a lot too. At the end of it all, we’re just as married as we would be if we had spent that $27,000, and we probably came out of our own pockets under $500. 50 Things to Know Before Getting Married offers many tips. You can spend a few hours with this audiobook, or this audiobook can be a quick skim of important information all in one place. You don't need a wedding planner to plan a wedding. You can keep to your wedding budget by creating your own wedding plan.

Summary

If you eat dinner solely for the chance to chase it with dessert, we hate to break it to you, but it might be time to try a sugar detox. We’re not talking about a five-day fad cleanse, either. The ultimate goal is to really downplay sugar in the diet and have that be a permanent lifestyle change. Your love for sugary stuff may seem benign, but the truth is that most people are eating way more of it than they need. Americans currently consume 22 teaspoons of sugar per day. That’s more than three times as much as what’s recommended by the American Heart Association. Plus, research shows that not-so-innocent sweet tooth could be doing serious damage to your health, leading to weight gain, high blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and an increased risk for diabetes. In fact, eating too much sugar should be considered just as dangerous as smoking cigarettes. A diet with sugar and high glycemic index foods promotes all the leading causes of death in America. We don’t see value in cutting out sugar for a few days and then going back to eating it, but I do see value in cutting it out permanently. Sugar addiction is no joke. Once you’re hooked, cravings can be hard to resist, leading you down a slippery slope towards obesity and other health problems. Studies are showing that in some people and animals, the brain can react to sugar very much like it can to drugs and alcohol. That’s why when you initially cut added sugars from your diet, you might feel deprived for a few days. When your body is overloaded with waste, you feel more uncomfortable when not eating that food. It’s like stopping coffee. Your efforts to cut back on sugar will pay off though. In the short term, people will notice their energy levels improve right away and after a short period of time they will notice cravings and fatigue diminishes. Plus, the long-term benefits of cutting back on added sugar in your diet are impossible to ignore. One study published in the journal Circulation showed that sugar-sweetened drinks directly cause the cardiovascular disease and diabetes that kill about 184,000 people worldwide every year. This audiobook contains: Introduction Your Sugar Detox Diet, Made Simple Ten Reasons You Need a Sugar Detox Right Now 5 Benefits of a 21-Day Sugar Detox The Health Benefits of Sugar Top 9 Reasons to Avoid Sugar Ten Scientific Ways to Detox from Sugar Addiction 21-Day Sugar Detox Diet Plan (Restart Your Body) Get this audiobook now and start healing your body today!

Lose Your Belly Diet: The Most Effective and Easiest Way to Lose Your Weight

Summary

Getting rid of your belly bulge is important for more than just vanity's sake. Excess abdominal fat - particularly visceral fat, the kind that surrounds your organs and puffs your stomach into a "beer gut" - is a predictor of heart disease, type-2 diabetes, insulin resistance, and some cancers. If diet and exercise haven't done much to reduce your pooch, then your hormones, your age, and other genetic factors may be the reason why. There are three types of fat: triglycerides (the fat that circulates in your blood), subcutaneous fat (the layer directly below the skin’s surface), and visceral fat (dangerous belly fat). Visceral fat is located beneath the muscles in your stomach and poses many dangers to your health when there is too much of it. Belly fat doesn’t just sit there; it can have negative impacts on almost every organ in your body through the productions of excess hormones and chemicals. Having too much visceral fat can put you at risk for many other health issues such as cardiovascular disease, type-2 diabetes, and colorectal cancer. How do you know if you have too much belly fat? An easy way to determine if you have too much belly fat is to measure yourself at home. Take a measuring tape and wrap it around your bare stomach, directly above your hip bone. The tape should be snug but not too tight. For women, a measurement of 35 inches or more indicates an unhealthy amount of belly fat. For men, a measurement of 40 inches or more indicates an unhealthy measure.
