Summary
This is the story of a countryside boy, Rajat, who, fresh out of village schools, comes to the happening capital city of Lucknow for his higher education. The city and college start to absorb him, and he tries to adapt to the ways of the city. In a turn of events, he meets a refined, classy girl and two boys of the opposite nature. Their friendship pans well, and some interesting things start to happen. With the passing of time and a mix of pressure for a career, the girl turning practical and a misundertstanding with the friends leads their ways apart. Titli’s only desire is to be the perfect daughter and bring happiness to her family and her society. One day, fate brings both of these women together. Titli’s spirituality is confronted with Shaila’s rationalism, and as time unfolds, Titli starts looking at Shaila as her role model, starting a relationship between the two that doesn’t only affect their lives, but also of the people around them. Where would this friendship lead both of them? Would Titli be able to stick to her traditional values, or would she transform into somebody more like Shaila?
