Take a moment to look over your books about investing. Have any of them given you a successful method for making profits and reducing risks? Is there even one such book that has proven reliable over the years? Alas, most investors would say no. That's because so few investment books are classic in the true sense: For years investors keep buying the book, and they keep using the method to make the most of their opportunities. Three decades ago - 1978 - is one of the last times an investment book was written that is worthy of being called classic. One of the two men who authored that book was a 26-year-old market analyst working at Merrill Lynch's headquarters on Wall Street. The young man had earned a lot of attention in a short time by using a forecasting tool that almost no one had heard of. Yet his market forecasts were startlingly accurate: Robert Prechter was the young man's name, and he used a method called the Elliott Wave Principle. A. J. Frost was one of the few other financial professionals who used the Wave Principle. In a distinguished 20-year career, Frost had likewise made many astonishingly accurate forecasts. His colleagues regarded him as the consummate technical analyst. Frost and Prechter met in May of 1977 and became fast friends. Eighteen months later they published Elliott Wave Principle - Key to Market Behavior. The Dow Industrials stood at 790. But the brash forecast in this new book called for a great bull market. It became a runaway best seller. Elliott Wave International is proud to present the 10th edition of this investment classic. It's designed to help the Elliott Wave novice and the veteran practitioner. Please note: The audio references supplemental material that is not included with the purchase of this audiobook.

A delectable stew of post apocalyptic prepper fiction. This book contains the three-book dystopia series Burning Skillet, Smoking Skillet, and Disaster Du Jour! A wild romp of chaotic recipes for survival with tips and tricks and survivalist barter skill savvy from a middle-aged prepper couple bugging out with a totally unprepared elderly couple from Alabama to a Florida Fish camp deep in the woods. North Korea has taken down many of the electrical grids worldwide with cyber and terrorist physical attacks, and it's lights out for America and her allies. Our stalwart survivors team up with others to defend what they have and bravely forage out to scavenge what’s left of society in a coastal city. Supplies are low, food is disappearing at an alarming rate, and game is getting scarce as desperate people do even more desperate things to survive. Some people approach this dystopian world with a gun and violence; others use their prepper wits and skills and see an opportunity to thrive and barter. Society can be rebuilt with prepared minds and a crisis planning cookbook based on basics of barter and community resilience. Regular old country folks often are better set up then most of the populace to face this disaster in style, and it is a humorous, delightful listen to find out just who outfoxes who when it comes to putting meat and eggs on the dinner table. Better guns or better brains? You decide!

Survival tips written for (and by) old farts... I decided to write down a bunch of timely wood lore tricks and preparedness advisement so they can be shared and remembered at least once more. Knowledge I have gained from a lifetime of prepping and preparing for disasters and how to live easier through hard times are explained within this book. I bet all of us aging seniors who are of the preppier mindset or of a survivalist bent, as well as many younger folks less knowledgeable, want to know about the same things we do regarding eating well and dying easier after a mega disaster. That is, survival knowledge that we will need to know and rely on should the electrical grid ever go down and stay down. Considering just how unreliable all this newfangled technology can be and the fact that new threats are always appearing on the horizon, it is not a far stretch to say our dependency on technology is putting our very survival or daily existence in jeopardy. We need to try to get back to our old school mindsets now and learn more about the woods or country living that some of us may have forgotten about, or some of us never learned growing up to begin with. Whether or not you are just learning basic preparedness for the first time or remembering many an old camping trip or military deployment, there is plenty to learn here. The contents of this audiobook will teach you long term survival and food procurement, using anything but the cheapest gear best suited for the task. Even if you are on a strict fixed income and have a few minor physical disabilities, I have a plan for you and it's one that won’t cost much at all to sustain you for a year or more. This audiobook will teach you some awesome things like how to catch a fish with a twig, use nothing but a pencil sharpener to light a fire in wet woods and make a fish hook or animal trap, heat your house with the sun and a sewage line, open a can of food on the curb without a can opener, heat your house with a garbage bag, light a fire with a rain drop, defend yourself against a wild dog attack, spend a dollar on a tool that can feed you the rest of your life, or spend a hundred dollars on a piece of gear that could feed you and your family for a year using common, easy applicable food procurement skills in any suburban backyard or forested wood lot. You will learn the skills that some of us old timers who are still kicking around will use for surviving long term and would like to be taught to the next generation. Things that are good to know, like how to take a cardboard box, a baking bag, a piece of string and catch your own dinner, cook it and boil and purify water using those three items. This book will teach you more than a few things you might not know yet, but you should for old fart survival purposes! Let us try to outlive and out think them young heathens or at least hang around long enough to teach them a better way to survive themselves!
