Snatched through a portal into a land of magic, a young musician must use a mysterious, multistring duar to rescue the world into which he has fallen before he can return to his own. Jonathan Thomas Meriweather is a typical college student, interested in girls, music, and an occasional taste of reefer. But when a journey through an interdimensional portal lands him in a world of talking animals and ominous sorcery, he finds he is on a very different trip indeed. Here, when he plays a strange instrument called a duar, peculiar things happen: powerful magic that may be the only way to stop a dark force that threatens his new world — and his old one. Reluctantly, he finds himself teaming up with a semi-senile turtle wizard; a thieving, backstabbing otter; and a bewildered Marxist dragon to rally an army for the war about to come. Spellsinger, the first in Alan Dean Foster’s eight-book Spellsinger series, introduces a world of magic and mayhem, where animals are people and plunging ahead no matter what the consequences may be the only way to survive. Performed by Terence Aselford, Gregory Linington, Bradley Smith, Chris Genebach, Yasmin Tuazon, Shanta Parasuraman, David Jourdan, Andy Clemence, James Konicek, Richard Rohan, Ren Kasey, Jeff Allin, Paul Reisman, Ken Jackson, Michael Glenn, Nanette Savard, Todd Scofield, Alyssa Wilmoth, Michael John Casey, Scott McCormick, Rose Elizabeth Supan, Mort Shelby.

The legend lives Everyone knows the legend of the Jersey Devil. Some believe it is an abomination of nature, a hybrid winged beast from hell that stalks the Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey searching for prey. Others believe it is a hoax, a campfire story designed to scare children. But one man knows the truth.... Now, the creature’s stomping grounds are alive once again with strange sightings, disappearances, and worse. Now, the first of those deaths has come back to haunt him. He finds unlikely friends among some of the famous gunfighters and adventurers who brought life - and death - to a land that once knew only the buffalo and the Indian. In Massacre at Goliad, tensions mount between Mexican authorities and American newcomers. Revolution is in the air, something Thomas Buckalew welcomes but his brother Joshua fears, since Joshua is in love with a Mexican girl. The story touches on the immortal battle of the Alamo but centers on the infamous Goliad massacre, and ultimately the decisive battle of San Jacinto, which made Texas an independent republic. After the Bugles begins where Massacre at Goliad ends - on the battlefield at San Jacinto, Joshua Buckalew tries to put the pieces back together but finds that starting over in the aftermath of war can be as challenging as the war itself. The racial differences that helped foment the conflict have not gone away. And Texas finds that being an independent republic can be more difficult than being a colonial extension of Mexico. Performed by Terence Aselford, Eric Messner, Danny Gavigan, Thomas Keegan, Tim Pabon, Yasmin Tuazon, Michael Glenn, Elizabeth Jernigan, Scott McCormick, James Konicek, David Coyne, Michael John Casey, Drew Kopas, Alyssa Wilmoth, Christopher Graybill, Catherine Aselford, Nick DePinto, David Harris, Bradley Smith, Richard Rohan, Patrick Bussink, Bobby Aselford, Gary Telles, Tim Carlin, Nanette Savard, Ren Kasey, Mort Shelby.

It started in 48 B.C. when a centurion on a rescue mission for Julius Caesar went down with the ship in a storm. With his last breath, he saw the object of Caesar's seafaring excursion - an accursed, mechanical minotaur - hit bottom...and start to walk away. While taping an episode of Chasing History's Monsters, TV host and archaeologist Annja Creed learns that her sometime friend and protector Garin has acquired an ancient butterfly key artifact, the kind once used to wind automatons, clockwork-style devices. Except, this key comes with a rumor attached, a story that it once worked a god-touched device both rare and unbelievably powerful. No sooner does Garin hold the key than it's snatched from his hands by a freewheeling historian who plays by her own rules. And she wants ultimate power, which could happily include the sword of Joan of Arc. The quest for the key and the mythological automaton reunites Annja, Garin and his old mentor Roux in Genoa, and pits them in a race across Europe to beat a foe as resourceful and skilled as Annja herself. Performed by Nanette Savard, Colleen Delany, Terence Aselford, Richard Rohan, Kimberly Gilbert, Yasmin Tuazon, Christopher Scheeren, Dylan Lynch, Alexander Strain, David Coyne, Casie Platt, Evan Casey, Tim Getman, Eric Messner, Scott McCormick, James Konicek, Steven Carpenter, Dawn Ursula, Thomas Keegan, Michael Glenn, James Lewis, Joe Brack, Ted Stoddard.
