Summary

If you're a guy and you've started puberty, your body will have begun making the hormones necessary to help build muscle in response to weight training. If you haven't started puberty, or you're a girl, you'll still be able to get stronger - you just won't see your muscles getting much bigger. Before you start strength training, you should be checked out by your doctor to make sure it's safe for you to lift weights. And to reduce the risk of injury, it’s important to learn proper technique and to be adequately supervised. Any time you start a new sport or activity, start out slowly so that your body gets used to the increase in activity. It’s a good idea to initially perform the exercise without any weight to make sure you're using the proper technique. Once you've mastered the technique, you can gradually add weight as long as you can comfortably perform the exercise for eight to 15 repetitions. Before you begin any type of strength training routine, get some guidance and expert advice. Many trainers who work at schools, gyms, and in weight rooms are knowledgeable about strength training, but it's best to get advice from someone who is a certified fitness expert and experienced working with teens. When lifting weights - either free weights or on a machine - make sure that there's always someone nearby to supervise, or spot, you. This person, called a spotter, encourages you and also can act as your coach, telling you if you're not doing a particular exercise correctly. Having a spotter nearby is particularly important when using free weights. Even someone in great shape sometimes just can't make that last rep. It's no big deal if you're doing biceps curls; all you'll have to do is drop the weight onto the floor. But if you're in the middle of a bench press - a chest exercise where you're lying on a bench and pushing a loaded barbell away from your chest - it's easy to become trapped under a heavy weight. A spotter can keep you from dropping the barbell onto your chest. Many schools offer weight or circuit training as units in their gym classes. Check to see if you can sign up. Don't be afraid to ask for pointers and tips about how much weight to start with and how to develop a routine. (Buddha) Buddhism, one of the world's most widely practiced religions, is a fascinating yet complex eastern religion that is rapidly spreading throughout western civilization. What does it mean to be a Buddhist? What are the fundamental beliefs and history behind this religion? Whether you're a searcher of truth, a student of religions, or just curious about what makes Buddhism such a widely practiced religion, this audiobook can help. Buddhism is a path of practice and spiritual development leading to insight into the true nature of reality. Buddhist practices like meditation are means of changing yourself in order to develop the qualities of awareness, kindness, and wisdom. The experience developed within the Buddhist tradition over thousands of years has created an incomparable resource for all those who wish to follow a path - a path which ultimately culminates in Enlightenment or Buddhahood. An enlightened being sees the nature of reality absolutely clearly, just as it is, and lives fully and naturally in accordance with that vision. Yoga for Beginners: A Yoga Bible with Different Poses and Postures for Stress Relief and Weight Loss

Summary

Yoga is a practical aid, not a religion. Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with their environment. This is a simple definition. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind.  In the practice of yoga the ultimate aim is one of self-development and self-realization. Think of this practice as being the means and tools to realign and rebalance your vehicle (body) on a regular basis. You take control and you can then become your body mechanic instead of having to pay someone else to do it (medical professionals). Because your body is finely tuned you will find that your chances for injuries and illnesses will drop as you are in a much more attuned state.  You don’t want for something major to happen to you before you decide to do something about it. That’s reactive behavior and that’s going to set you back big time, all you have to do is take action now. Yoga is easy to do. With changing times and increasing pollution, the bodies of women are also changing. Puberty, menopause, pregnancy, stress, thyroid, PCOs, obesity and stress - women have to deal so much and many more.  As a beginner, often we equate yoga with some tough, limb-twisting poses. And aren't you sometimes concerned that: "I can't even touch my toes, how can I do yoga?" Yoga is not about touching your toes, or stretching 98 degrees to your northeast. It’s a simple process of uniting with yourself - using your breath, body and mind. And it’s easy and effortless.

Social anxiety prevents that and you know it. Would you like more loyal friends who really care about you? Want to stop feeling ignored? Need to learn how to talk to people without panicking?
